Hello, played this a bunch on N64 back when I was kid, its a good game and series, but ill be honest, I haven't played a ton of the new ones. I bought the one for the switch and played like 2 hours of it tho.

I am really hoping this game is balanced better than the last one. I have hope since mikal helped balance it a bit, but I remember the disaster that was the last game by kohai lol. I got town confirmed and subsequently killed np1 because of it. Among other balance issues, that was painful lol

Bastard elements including mid game alignment changing mechanisms may or may not exist

I doubt that a cult would exist in a 9 player game personally. Those are OP in even the bigger games. Or at least if it did I don't think mikal would have given it his seal of approval. If there is a recruit ability its a 1x role like yakuza or something.

The only reason I didn't say this earlier is because I missed that wylted was playing.

I thought that profile picture was stupid enough before, but I am an edgy meme-lover, so I tolerated it. With the recent Epstein file drops, I can't put up with it anymore. I want to policy lynch wylted every day phase he is alive until he changes it. Hopefully his inability to play Mafia will out-incentivize the policy lynch being proof that we swallowed his ragebait.

I don't think he should be banned for that profile picture because I support free speech, but I also believe that we have the right to turn that free speech right back at people we don't like by, for instance, saying VTL wylted. As Voltaire never said, "I may not agree with your profile picture, but I will defend to the death my right to policy lynch you for it."

It's a cause for introspection that I never advocated policy lynching wylted for this when the worst thing I knew about Epstein is that he liked to fuck underage girls, but my point stands.

Here's some unforgivable sacrilege to your Nintendidols. I've never played a Legend of Zelda game from start to finish. I'm pretty sure that the only ones I've played are the first one and Ocarina of Time, both on emulators, and I don't think I got past the first sections. If that confession wasn't to a mortal enough sin, let me earn myself a latae sententiae excommunication from videogamedom: I didn't like either one.

Wylted is a bit edgy, but he's harmless. He's a troll, but he's not a bad person, and far from toxic imo. There are ten times worse than wylted out there who actually endorse that stuff, wylted just likes to peoples goats. I would let this one go personally.

Reading through the OP again. Good to see we don't have to deal with TPs, GFs, millers or gravediggers this game, same with the hidden modifiers.

I have a pretty varied experience with the Legend of Zelda games. Played through Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, some experience with Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, not a whole lot with the new games on the Switch though I've got the gist. In terms of focusing on theme, David mentioned that the theme split would be obvious (to the point that he was initially planning to make any flavor discussion a modkill-worthy offense), so I suspect that's still in play here. Wouldn't be surprised at all if scum got at least one fake claim.
