I've made this point about three times and no one's been able to defeat it

It's simple. Once Thoth claimed, it became clear that he wouldn't be lynched that DP. I think that's what scum was scared of: who the wagon would revert to once he was off the table. That's why I'm sussing you for hammering post-claim with that justification, and Mago for being the player who would probably be next of the chopping block. There is something that's holding me back a bit but it's just a hunch. Otherwise I would be just locked in om one of you're lynches.

I saw your frustrated post earlier btw. I am not ignoring you and I understand how it feels to feel like you’re posting and no one is acknowledging that. I have read everything, I just don’t see it yet. I do think pie is likely town based on his pursual of you. Out of the two of you I would say you are the stronger town read so I am open to being wrong about pie, but at the same time I don’t think I am ready or willing to lynch him atm or even look for his claim, and I have the feeling scum is kind of enjoying this debacle as it forces two strong town players into claiming and potentially getting mislynched.

I think there is something more here than just two people scum reading each other, I think there is pride and ego involved and both feel entrenched to the point where they feel have to double down or be defensive of their opinions. I’ve seen both of them do this type of thing before. I feel pie is different already than last game for one where we now know he was scum, and mharman is screaming town to me. I agree with Whiteflame that as scum I don’t think either of them would want to bring this much attention to themselves especially when it’s been framed so much as a 1 v 1 scenario where one or the other must claim based on where the majority seats. Doesn’t it seem just as likely both could be town here, as opposed to one scum?

Whiteflame’s shit is just logical shit that anyone can say. It’s literally just an observation on the game state, not an opinion. Anyone can say that. Plus many of them seem forced like “I need to say something here”.

You've played with me across multiple games now. As both town and scum, this is the stuff I focus on. If I start spitting out more gut reads, that should be the point where alarm bells go off. That being said, yes, there are opinions in my posts. Just because I give reasons to support them doesn’t mean everything I say is just factual.

And yeah, after a long argument between two of the more vocal players in this game, I do feel the need to insert some thoughts about them. I don’t see how my posts come off as forced, though.
