Welcome to Andor Mafia. This game is based off of the Star Wars TV series of the same name.

Game Information

There are 7 town players and 2 mafia. The theme is rebel alliance vs empire.
I will announce when MYLO/LYLO has arrived, and votes will be permanent on MYLO/LYLO days. So no hammer baiting.
Scum have not been given fake claims, but I will allow them to ask about two characters and two roles to see if they are in the game.

Unique Mechanics

The town has seven days to eliminate the mafia. Day phases can be as long as you want, but the game will default to a mafia victory at this time in seven days (Tuesday, March 10, 7:00PM Central) unless the mafia have been eliminated before then. To go to the next day phase, you must lynch a player. You cannot vote to end the day phase without killing a player, the day phase just continues until someone is lynched.
To both town and mafia, specify your night actions before the day phase ends. That will usually be once I get home from work and see that a hammer has happened. You can specify as many conditions as you want, such as “target player X, unless player X is dead, target player Y, unless player X flips town, target player Z, and if all three are dead, do nothing.” I’d suggest having a long list of backup targets. Just be prepared for any surprises, because the next day phase will start as soon as this one ends, and if you have no possible actions locked in you’ll do nothing.

What I’ll say is that I’ve never seen my character before. Probably from the sequels (to the movies or to the Clone Wars animated series), I think. Not claiming further than that and I’ll actually get lynched before I claim.

I have watched a bit of Andor, and it's among the titles that continue to prove my childhood self completely wrong: you can have cool Star Wars stories without Sith/Jedi/lightsaber stuff. I used to see non-Force users like Star Wars Muggles, and I was like, who wants a story with a Muggle protagonist. How naive I was. In fact, it seems like my favorite modern Star Wars stuff has had no Jedi in it: Rogue One, The Mandalorian, and now Andor. (Yes I know Luke and Ahsoka were briefly in Mandalorian, shut up)

Someone is inevitably going to ask what we should soft, which will spur an inevitable complaint about the softing meta, which will trigger the inevitable back-and-forth about the merits of softing, so who would like to start that dreary cycle. From what I remember, male/female softing would suffice, unless Savant has included Cassian's droid, B2.
