So to revisit the unenviable position I'm in, I find it hard to believe Luthen Rael isn't in the game, hard to believe Inventor and JOAT are in the game, whiteflame and Lunatic both should not have let Kohai claim Strengthener, unless they told him to for reasons, neither are mechanically confirmed, and there's a lot of wifomy shit to consider for each of them.
And honestly, would expect Bix to be in the game too.
Scum had two role questions and Lunatic has three roles, which would be a huge point in his favor if he'd claimed all three while there were still unclaimed roles on the board, but he didn't. I'm not even sure what question whiteflame would have asked to arrive at his role. "Is there a role cop in the game" maybe.
With all that, I'm leaning whiteflame. End of the day, with nothing really more to go on, Luthen is so central to the plot I just can't jibe Savant leaving him out. JOAT and Inventor are hard to believe, but so is a 1x Bomb and a 1x Martyr. I remember when I mislynched at LYLO in Chicago Bears mafia because I thought there was no way Vader put a Sensor, Tracker, and Cop in the game but no protectives. Balance analysis hath thorned mine thumb before.
Roleblocker, why give town a roleblock and a counter to it? Makes no sense. If there was a scum roleblocker and a town roleblocker that would make more sense IMO.
Cant say I get this logic, since at the time you wouldn’t have known whether scum had an RB or other role manipulation, but I guess I get the basic idea that a Strengthener wouldn’t be there just to counter a town RB.

Like I said, I think this is a fair take since I said the same thing. Regardless of which of us it is, scum got lucky with their character questions and Savant left a big player out of the roster.

Odd for me to go rummaging for a niche role like this one if I knew there was one that was entirely absent, but I get your point.
I'm speculating that you watered down role cop to better harmonize with the other investigatives, but yes, it is niche

On first glance it appears that way. There is no link stating “you are this because of this” but it does say I possess a wide array of skills which in hindsight is what I am assuming the justification is.

Typically when I think strengthener I think “counter to roleblocker”. Depends on the mod but I guess in theory it could counter a redirector or bus driver but we also now know kohai was the bus driver so that logic is out the door. Only thing he could have countered was me and I know I’m town.

I wish there was something more than wifom I could give you. Obviously here to answer any questions. Probably could have used my night actions better but hindsight is 20/20. I mostly regret mis using the watcher, that could have come in clutch. I was pretty confident I would have been visited np1 though.

Not sure if Mago’s even paying attention at this point, since he didn’t post a vote last DP either. A shame since that Restless Spirit is pretty OP, but I’m good leaving this in your hands at this point, even if I don’t envy your having to make it.

You kind of just immediately voted him and it seemed more based on his character claim at that point. Now you say it’s because of his role. You kind of just immediately voted him and it seemed more based on his character claim at that point. Now you say it’s because of his role. I’ve repeatedly said I want Wryly to take her time and consider. I don’t see how that implies that I want her to make a hasty decision. Pointing out the uncertainty that Mago’s even around at this point just emphasizes that the decision is in her hands, not that she should make it more rapidly. As for Mago himself, I only know what I’ve seen so far. If he’s paying attention and going through the game so far, great. He can’t post beyond his sole vote, so I can’t know that that’s the case. Neither can you. His being pinged so much doesn’t prove he’s around, either, though I hope he is.

Honestly think its the latter, but not that your a bad decision maker, more like he thought he could suck up to you. He had role confirmed you so maybe he thought that would buy you some town cred with him. He kind of effectively was working me over the same way the whole game by town reading my claim, considering I know nothing about the theme, i've just been taking his word for it that I have a solid character here.
