Most often, it’s passive. I’ve seen some activated BPs before where it was only available for one night after use, but those are unusual cases.

Maybe it's just because I play too many videogames and am too entrenched in that terminology, but I understand passive abilities to be ones you don't have to activate. As in, you don't have to tell the mod "use my Bulletproof tonight." For instance, I could've gained a passive Perceptive ability in Ruyi Zhuan that would've let me see who visited me each night.

One where you have to tell the mod you want it activated. Usually has a single NP duration, like a self-doc. It does happen, just seems weird that it would come up at all and that there would be confusion over it.

So you're saying it never occurred to you to say that in his defense because you were still under this misconception that Savant had told you your BP had to be activated first?

Its just how you phrased that shit, using words like "Supposedly" and "Conveniently" telling me I changed my story instead of just mis understanding that I wasn't an active BP after I already admitted to confusing it. It sounded like a pre-determination of guilt.

The main thing with your role to me is that it seems almost too weak. You're given a list of roles to choose from, if you pick the wrong role, you're fucked and town have -- what, for investigatives? Rex's 1x Tracker, which he could accidentally give to scum?
