All right serious shit, I got stuff to report and it's been a long day
But you run into issues like: What statements can be lie detected, yes or no statements only or anything? Does a lie neccesarily mean scum? Town lie frequently to bait night kills, or if they have a strong role and don't want scum to know, or say if someone says they are a 1x doctor and you lie detect it, find out they are lying, but the reason they lied is because they were an every night doctor and didn't want mafia to night kill them because they want them to think it would be wasted, etc. Like there is just so many nuance situations with it. Then we had a meta where people would start every game saying "I win with the town" specifically for the lie detector role, but certain mods thought that was unfair and just didn't allow it because at that point you might as well just call it a cop. Idk the role has backfired a million times before for town, it just kind of blurs the lines. There might be an odd game or two I remember it actually catching scum, but I definitely don't remember ever being blown away by that role.

Since when has stamping your foot down and saying "NO IM NOT CLAIMING" ever helped or worked out for town? You are going to get mislynched doing that every time. If you are a good liar, at best you lie, if you can't, the safest bet is to just come clean and hope it works out. I am not arguing that the reasoning for pressuring him was surefire or anything, just that at a certain point you either comply or be lynch. It is known.

So wryly lunatic team is bothering me. Lunatic would do an accidental simultaneous hammer play. It's in his playbook and so is the dreamer thing to get multiple mislynches in a row and so he would give the ideal to wryly.
Not saying I believe this but I think I have to maybe figure out how to test that theory if shining flips town.
We should take these results with a major grain of salt btw. Being down one mislynch, going through and lynching down the line of results is a guaranteed way to lose this game. Trust me, I used this exact strategy as scum before. Until we can town confirm wryly in some way, I am not eager to jump into pressuring these people. Also I at the very least want whoever the caroler is to claim.

Ngl it kind of took some of the wind out of my sails for this game. Starting out with a costly and completely avoidable fuckup tastes pretty bitter. Especially considering they got the Inventor too.

Chin up butter cup, we got scum to catch! Look on the bright side. Like I said earlier, scum don't have as much POE to work with as they could have if we pressured like 5 people for claims just to mislynch anyways. I lowkey think this was a good thing. I almost want to suggest quickly yolo lynching people dp1 in future games, but the other side of that is it ruins the fun for the person being lynched, and I know I wouldn't wanna be that person. At the end of the day, if you aint having fun, why even play?

I was just told I received a carol. I was not told who sent it. The followup questions I asked were can the Caroler be in the results (yes), and could the results show a third party but no mafia (no).

Obviously I was mad at Pie for pushing so hard on that Kohai wagon, but that's kind of just Pie being Pie. I'm null on him and Rex behaviorally and mechanically.

That's true if somebody will claim they sent that gift it would probably make the. Town and they in fact may be in the results and it could give us confidence in wrylys results to some extent. But then against why would anyone gift wryly that when she hammered Kohai there and we can't easily trust she is being honest even if given a gift the DP is so short several people could have town read her and it would be hard to narrow down who potentially gave her the gift
Wryly receiving the result after a mishammer is partially why I am dubious. Also consider that there could be an actual caroler who gave scum the results, and scum just altered their results. If thats the case, those three people are town and it majorly reduces POE. If by the end of this wryly is suspicious, lynching her could almost game solve. But yeah let's be thorough.

Of those three rex is the only one I don't have any sort of read on yet. I townread shining for the claim for mechanic reasons, doesn't make sense as a scum role and its technically verifiable if we wanted to gamble it, which I imagine is a real possibility in this player pool, thus not a good fake claim for shining to make as scum. He also claimed really early and risked a CC which is something I doubt he would do, especially with out easily he could have been CC'ed. Popular is a very common role these days. Pie is more of a wifom based read, but I still feel good about him.

I usually don't suggest these, but this might be one of those rare situations where I could be okay with a mass claim. I can confirm myself at least my role (as long as I claim before the person I can confirm claims), and if that person happens to be in those three that can help sort out the results a bit. Something to chew on.

Maybe whatever Wryly is failed or whatever reason and they weren't roleblocked. Its odd they would be both RB'd and given a carol so hopefully Pie has thoughts when he gets on.
