Or you claimed the carol results before talking to your partner, or your partner dropped the ball and forgot they were supposed to claim caroler, or you didn’t account for a mass claim and hoped people would lunch within the results before ever claiming, I mean you likely would have only needed two more mislynches and the results account for three. Multiple possibilities that make more sense than a 3rd party maybe existing and taking a Hail Mary play to take out a town player instead of getting free town cred.

Whether you mass claimed or not doesn't matter, there would still have been a clamor of "who was the Caroler? anyone wanna claim Caroler" and a town Caroler would've had every reason to confirm themselves even if no one else claimed -- so the absence of any Caroler claim at all would have looked hella suspicious even if there was no mass claim

At the end of the day we still have no caroler claim and to buy all that wifom relies on us buying a third party conspiracy over a classic “looks like scum made a mistake” which does happen literally all the time.

Why are we pretending like there isn't a possibility that a town caroler lied about their claim? I mean if they get one more carol off its pretty much a guaranteed win. If they claim they will 100% be either fucked with or killed. Entertaining the idea of a scum caroler or of a 3p caroler in a 9 player game is retarded. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, and I would be scum reading the players doing this if they weren't town confirmed. It also makes zero sense for Wryly to make up a carol result. Like this is all painfully obvious? What am I missing? I say just lynch Pie and its a guaranteed town win. We narrow scum in the first carol to me or Shining (or Wryly if she's lying) if Pie somehow flips inno and we hopefully have a second carol to solve the game next DP.
