I mean it isn't completely out of character for wylted so I am taking that into consideration. But unless we pursue more claims here, and I don't think we should with 4 on the board, the alternative is mago, who I am town reading atm.

Assuming a Miller really is in the game we could verify Wylted’s claim by checking if any of the other characters make sense with a Miller. Mharman first made a setup then Banana tweaked a bit to fit the characters. My guess is she prioritized the roles being balanced and probably didn’t change the setup very much, so Wylted getting a weird justification could make sense.

Well theres a cop so autimatically it "makes sense". My main issue is that it was claimed after the cop. But I guess that could just genuinely be because wylted was late to the party, or it could be an opportunistic gambit for town cred, since miller is fairly common role around here.

If miller is fake though it was a mod provided fake claim from the full claim, or from one of the two role claims. Also I agree wylted should have said it in his first post. Only thing giving me pause is that this just happened with him as a town miller in ruyi zhuan, and he also didn't claim it in his first post if I remember correctly. Though circumstances were slightly different there with the mechanics.

Yeah if we decide not to pursue any more claims here. I would be down to settle between rex or wylted here.

The problem is that its kind of an over used role here, so much that it is almost always believed. The odd game or two is missing one. But it makes it complicated to just straight up lynch millers. Also if we start policy lynching millers, its kind of unfair to them and makes it unfun. I am down to policy lynch stubborn behavior in claiming all day. But if we are to lynch wylted here I don't want it to be because of policy lol

In the absence of solid scumreads I’d rather go for Shining who has posted only once or twice than a Miller.

Pie has been advocating a policy lynch on millers for years. I don't think anyone has ever supported that idea or practiced it, so it's really kind of a moot point.

Ah okay, that makes sense. I don’t see why a Miller claim calls for a policy lynch. I could see other roles calling for a policy lynch, or some other Miller that only claimed sfter a Cop found them scum.

Because you never know if it’s a fake claim or not. Even with the existence of a Cop, it’s possible town never had a miller to begin with. It becomes an issue cause scum are never gonna kill the Miller cause they have bigger targets, and there’s no role confirmation. Behavior is possible, and we’ve used it before, but it’s not always perfect. So my policy is that Millers are de facto lynches unless there’s a better option

Would still prefer an inactive lynch today to drive activity, but I guess the Miller policy lynch makes sense. Although it could be a bad idea if the Miller is townie.
