It’s risky, not dumb. It can work as Town if you’re not turbo’d and people are patient. (It can also work as scum as a gambit, not just to get townread but you can do lots of cool things with it later on in the game).

Anyways, you’re slated to be policy lynched atm and there was a bunch of other discussion about your justification for example, do you have other thoughts on those? Why jump to this post immediately and ignoee all that?

Assuming you are town, what do you think you have done this game outside of your character claim that should have people town read you? If your in my shoes why should I think your town in otherwords.

Hmm looked it up and that justification seems to be accurate for doctor langdon. He is also a pretty prominent character. At the very least I will say if Wylted is lying then that is definitely a mod provided character claim, I think that is way too risky for scum to claim otherwise. If Wylted is scum I don’t think they asked for the roles, because miller isn’t particularly strong.

Don't lynch me but millers should be policy lynched until the meta is to not claim them when you get the role. I think claiming them in the 10% chance you get investigated is bad. However I also know that if you don't claim it DP1 than town currently lacks the critical thinking to see beyond the claim in later DPs

If you were acting suspicious enough to draw the ire of a cop investigation, you know how scummy that would be if you revealed you were a miller only after a cop result finds you guilty? It would be very convienent and you’d likely just end up getting lynched anyway

1. Not claiming Miller INSTANTLY when you get Miller is gamethrowingly bad. If you get Miller, instantly claim in literally your first post.

I mean, a Miller is a Town role who gets seen as Scum by Investigators. A Town character who literally STOLE DRUGS is a criminal so Miller makes perfect sense for them. Why didn’t you claim that right away?

The problem with Wylted is that he’s a wild card that you can’t really predict. This is 100% in line for something Wylted would do. The problem is that he is taking a risk claiming the Miller when the cop has claimed. Unless he did major research on his character and I really don’t think he would do that for a game. Hes also pretty bad at justifications and such and based on Luna’s assessment of the character it makes sense but I also question that assessment. Idk this doesn’t feel like a Wylted scum play

I am OK with getting a Rex lynch this DP. He had no reasons to be on either wagons and seems to just be pushing for claims and getting info. Then I’ve seen him go AWOL. Don’t love his play

Right now I feel solid on Mago and Wylted being town. Everyone else is probably in a null category

Thing is Wylted claimed his justification early and his justification was kinda iffy. “Doesn’t get along with people”.

Now he is saying justifications are retarded and you can’t catch scum with it, claims his justification anyway and when he does he adds “I stole drugs”, which is like why not claim that immediately if you’re a Miller? Just doesn’t make sense.

Not really. It’s the method in which he claimed based on a general reading. We know Pie’s policy on lynching millers so that’s not a question

Yeah but the problem is that my justification could also be consider weak because it follows the pattern he’s describing of like a characteristic of the person then it goes to an event. Wylted kind of does that with his claims. He also sucks at fake claiming. The only thing that sort of moves me about this is that no one SOP claimed Miller and then he went and did it last without posting anything.

If you’re a Team Player why not fully claim your justification properly the first time? You must be scum. Town Wylted would pay more attention to their justification as a Miller.
