I think we're barking up the wrong tree suspecting Wylted. If we're really still undecided at the end of the DP we can vote him but I'd rather focus on getting more info from Shining/Thoth and, in the event we learn nothing else useful/they don't show up, vote Rex.
I figure if he was that chatacter it would be less tricky for him to fake a justification, since Drug Dealer = Miller is a no brainer.

I see the argument for scum!Rex but he could also be Town, it’s not a super hard scum read, so I prefer an inactive lynch to 1) tell scum they can’t coast by forever 2) incentivise town to post 3) get rid of a player who is either scum and inactive or a Town who will forever be a wildcard and most likely get mislynched at MyLo. 4) Shining is Town and he actually starts posting and we switch to someone else

Neither of these are good points. 1 just assumes that scum isn't already posting and 2 is just...weird. Are we going to vote someone who's probably town if they have a life issue and need to step away from the game for a day or two?

I mean, if it gets to that point and Shining is still inactive, the play wouldn't be to vote the slot but replace it out.
Let me put it this way. Inactivity is always going to land someone in the POE pool for voting when we're looking to solve the game. It's infinitely more useful for solving to vote for someone who's behavior you can analyze post-flip than to vote for someone who doesn't have behavior to analyze.

That’s assuming he gets replaced. He could do the minimum amount of posting as not to be replaced and we would be in the same situation as now. Not sure why you’re so resistant to voting an inactive.
Is voting someone who actually posts useful when that poster flips Town? Even if Rex is scum he generates more info than Shining who has generated a grand total of 0 info.
D1 is also the best day to vote an inactive, and as an aside (good on for you pointing it out), I don’t actually expect Shining to get replaced. He’s always a low poster. So this is a call for him to step up and be active for get lynched. I’m not taking him to MyLo this game with his current play.
Also, by not pressuring inactives we pretty much give Mafia free reign to coast by as much as they want to. Mafia should be forced to post so they can give us info. In fact, EVERYONE should be forced to post.
Rex we can deal with later after Shining. I’m not opposed to Rex so this isn’t a defense of him, but I don’t see him as ridiculously scummy. If he was ridiculously scummy I would obviously vote him over inactive, but right now his behaviour is… interpretable?
