Okay, I just talked with Mikal and I think I understand what's going on. Mikal is one of those mods who distinguishes between a visiting role and a non-visiting role.
Eye of the beast (Luna) - can see whether or not someone moves
Observe (me) - can see whether or not someone attempts to use any action, but I don't learn if it's successful or not
Goggles (Helz) - can see whether or not someone uses any action and whether or not it's successful
Some absolutely insane game design here but that's how it works ig

Luna's ability allows him to see if his target visits someone or not, that's it. Your ability lets you see if someone attempts to visit someone? So if they were roleblocked, for instance, Lunatic would see nothing, but you would see they attempted to use an action? But then how is this different from Helz, who can also detect success/fail?
By the time you’re at 4-2, it’ll be easy thag everyone needs to reevaluate everything

The design is pretty crappy with just Luna and Helz’s roles. And then the whole PM justification Helz had. Nothing about goggles relating to JinHoo and it’s in the description.

Yeah unfortunately there's a pattern of loose justifications and role overlap that makes Casey's claim within the realm of plausibility. It's a problem that will resolve itself, but kind of sucks the roles haven't been discrete enough that I can rule Casey out on role redundancy alone.
