All right. So there is a chance Mag1c's action failed because awesome is some typa ascetic scum, I was redirected from Rex to a different townie, Pie jailkept Banana but she's either town or had a scummate carry out the NK.

Possibility is remote but Banana is making me second guess myself enough to wrack my brain for all possibilities.

But they're not gonna do that. They're gonna fear Pie's Jailkeeper stopping another NK more than they're gonna fear me hitting the one scum they didn't lawyer. It's likelier they redirected Pie (why onto Mag1c instead of whiteflame?), and since they know he's probably gonna jailkeep Banana again, that doesn't look great for Banana.

If awesome is ascetic scum, do you think there is Kohai ascetic town as well?I don't. And if they are scum together, would Kohai claim ascetic instead of letting Awesome do it? Don't see any reason to do that.

Definitely seems like they redirected Pie to get an NK off OR to use Banana's role. If Banana is town you aren't going to kill her, she's a golden mislynch target. Why not let Pie jail her in a town banana world? Also might indicate that the other scum is in Pie's POE if they were that worried about the jailer. If you have a redirector and Banana is town it makes much more sense to use it on the cop, especially because they did not know we had a strengthener. It only makes sense to use it on Pie if Banana is scum and especially if her scummate is in his POE. The good play is to lawyer Banana (or have her self-lawyer) and have the other scum lawyer/redirect pie off her and onto the town player who is a wild card. That's basically what happened. Making me think it is Kohai/Banana.

Yeah, was thinking the same thing. There's a possibility Kohai is a town Ascetic and awesome used a scum Commuter or something, but we're really getting into the weeds there.

Agree. Only reason to redirect Pie in a t!Banana world is if you're afraid he's gonna jailkeep someone other than Banana this time -- i.e., you're Kohai, you're scum, and you're afraid Pie is gonna jailkeep you this time.

DP1 #1249 it's almost like his scummates crafted him a new justification after the original one was being questioned.

DP1 #1350 he makes a point to say he wouldn't come up with Ascetic if he was scum, seems like he's hoping to be investigated. Makes me think he might be straight claiming Ascetic.
