Well, despite the fact that we lost and I have won before as scum, I'd say this was probably my best scum game overall. Thoth left me in a really bad spot when I subbed in which I was NOT prepared for, yet I managed to stay alive. I'm proud of myself for that, even if it didn't work out in the end

So my DP1 analysis was perfect up until townies decided to 50/50 two town. Fucking wonderful

He was hard shoving them prior to Fiona's claim blunder.

This means they made the decision in wolf chat to make the play prior to Fiona making themselves sus as hell.

Part of why subs are inherently pro town. Inactives need to be weeded out of the community because mafia cannot strategize around a player being replaced. Half of Mafia is controlling texture as the game occurs, so when someone gets to join and reread the game fresh with knowledge of flips, that's an inherent imbalance

You played very well. I think your individual play clearing yourself really closed the game up

Agreed. And this eliminates a potential ML. TBH I was gonna go in and try and sell your slot as a ML but you shut that avenue down fast. I was forced to either pick a fight with Mikal or Llewela as we were poed out

You joining kinda solved it. Immediately clocked it as you and we had the same logic

So moved from being curious about your slot to hard scum locking brand. Kohai was scum either way

So that hydra kinda saved it

I'm glad I didn't let myself get paranoid. You mentioned a GF D1 and Lord of Chaos flipped GF/Goon. I'm used to GF meaning "investigates innocent". I realized it was being used to mean "controls the kill" and that you and Mago come from the same place so that's where the GF terminology came from

This is true. You subbing in totally threw our game off. It quickly became apparent we weren't going ML you like we were hoping to

I was very wrong on Caine but also the moment Brand flipped wolf I would have done a 180 there. Honestly I do not see how the scum would have had a shot had the game gone on.

I was trying to shade that Jailor could still exist and I either was Jailor or was jailed to throw WIFOM to cover Deirdre. Duno if that woulda played out but I expect Kohai would have picked up on the potential at least.

Yup. Even Gerard mentioned my slot as a ML. It was unfair for mafia to have me dropped on them at Mylo. The solution is either to not allow replacements or not allow players who often need to be replaced to play. I'm not saying I've never needed to be replaced, but quite a few people get away with signing up and being inactive all game every game.
