Welcome to Periodic Table of Elements Mafia. Ever since I started learning about chemistry in 10th grade, I’ve loved it. I almost decided to major in Chemistry for college because I liked it so much. There’s so much to learn about the elements and how they shape basically everything in the world. I hope you all enjoy the game and some of the facts as much as I do.
There is a theme split in this game. Mafia will be given the opportunity to ask 4 questions, which I will answer truthfully. Mafia can ask me if any 2 elements exists in the game, and I will say yes or no. Furthermore, they can ask me if any 2 roles exist in the game, and I will say yes or no.
I will answer any and all questions about hypothetical roles and their interactions with the caveat that it doesn’t mean the role exists in the game (I will only answer questions in PMs as hypotheticals). Also note that different phrasing of questions may lead to different answers based on how I understand the question. It will be easier if you be as specific as possible in your questions.
In terms of order of operations, I’ve made my view public that it really depends on the roles in the game, but high level, I will always follow that Commuter > Blocks > Misdirection > Other. I will encourage you all to ask specifically about your own role and how it would hypothetically interact with other roles.
Disclaimer: Your role PM may have been created at least partially using ChatGPT just cause I’m lazy and busy, so I apologize if there are any errors (I tried my best to validate the info). I urge you all to read your PMs very carefully.
I also in the signup thread mentioned that I started giving out PMs last night at 10:25 CST in signup order ie Luna received his first and Kohai received his last. All PMs were sent by 10:34 CST.
Just some quick rules:
1) No editing or deleting posts of any kinds
2) No copy/pasting your role PM (please paraphrase)
3) No cryptography of any kind
4) No communication outside of the mafia game
5) No liking/upvoting posts after you die
6) No using ChatGPT/AI to paraphrase your PM
In terms of angleshooting, I’ve tried my best to prevent it. If you want to use some angleshooting theory, BEFORE talking about it in the thread, please DM me, and I will either say yes you can or no you can’t.
I reserve the right to add any other rules that are commonplace that I may have forgotten to list.
