Banana lynching me doesn’t look super opportunistic but I still find it somewhat baffling. I don’t think she’s scum for it. Gun to the head Casey is probably inactive Town. I have no reason to believe this, just gut.

I appreciate the last minute thoughts. I agree, I don't think it's possible they're scum together, though I'm hesitant to say one of them is absolutely scum.

And yeah, I'd say looking at Rex in particular next DP is appropriate.

I think this game is PR heavy. In PR heavy games it can often be a good idea to do a mass claim immediately so we at least KNOW what roles are possible.

Don’t want scum to claim some absurd shit and feed us false information. With early claims they are forced into a claim, so they can’t just tailor their claims around what causes the highest amount of chaos. They have to claim sub optimally (assuming they go for a big brain FPS play and don’t use their fake role claims)

Last but not least. My role card does not really mention other chemical elements. With a role like Caesium, which is so reactive it has to be stored in mineral oil or it reacts with EVERYTHING, I’d expect it possible that other elements get mentioned. I could also see this for Calcium but less so. It’s possible all claims ae just kinda generic and don’t mention other elements

Not that it matters but it specifically says I am “THE” Strengthener. No other Strengthener is possible, is what this means.

I've done this multiple times. I would literally lynch confirmed town if they were the only viable target. No lynching DP1 is retarded, and I will never sanction it. It starves town of information because it creates a norm where scum can noncommittally support wagons and then just let them fizzle out and renders post hoc analysis completely pointless. You NEED to follow through and lynch someone.

How does lynching a Town, a 100% minus to your win condition, get balanced out by fictitious information, which 99% of the time people don’t even know how to interpret it anyways?

Is it a good idea to pick between flips that you aren’t sure of and default to the one with the highest information. yes

Does it mean you should Lynch Town because you’ll get “INFORMATION” out of it? What information do you get out of most Town flips that didn’t exist before the flip?

Can you explain in what way you having a confirmed or near confirmed Town at, say, MyLo, assuming I lived that long, is worse than getting “information” from lynching said confirmed Town?
