My problem is your follow up. You deflate the claim by saying it was a reaction test. Well you certainly got your reaction. And now that you have it instead of analyzing that reaction and pointing out what you have learned you are exclusively survival focused and ignoring the reactions that you claim to have been testing for.

For me its also that I have other problems I see in you. I listed a few of them very clearly. Its not just that I do believe you slipped here. Its that I do not believe your role claim, your flavor claim looks like it could easily be scum, and that outside of these factors I have not seen much to feel you are town this game.

I am very autistic as well and it constantly causes problems for me but its something I am better at in real life because I have struggled for so long in other areas making myself grow. It is possible. But what can I do with that? I would expect T! Kohai to explain doing a reaction test and be happy getting the reaction then dive into the results they claim they just tried to get. Not flail and rage and ATE as they self vote.

A lot of my reasoning is that I really do still suspect the other factors-

I feel everyone can aknoledge it being easy for Russia to be an evil flavor. On the global stage their stereotype is not 'the good guy' at pretty much any point in history. Russia is legendary for making nonstop bad faith actions to the point that a massive amount of the world united against them to deal with their aggression.

Then there is the role claim. It is kinda bastard for a host to impose such a loose obligation thats not even coming from a player.

Then there is the host meta question of "Would Lunatic after what happened last game and them being so upset about a mod kill slam in a mod kill mechanic this game" which is suspicious

Then there is the balance question of making a vanilla role that not only does nothing but also has an absolute negative utility that cripples the one thing it really has- its voice

Then there is their reaction and prior play today.

For me all signs point to scum. I am open to talking about it and changing my read but this feels like a pretty solid scum caught in a slip and is reacting with a hard emotional appeal. If you see reasons to town read them please point them out to me.

That first point I just made is huge in my head though. If I just baited a reaction test my reaction 100% would be excitement and rolling into my planned results and analyzing with some 'hahaha, gotcha and look at what I figured out!'

The reaction simply does not line up with the claim they were doing a reaction test at all.

I will say right now Pie does looks good in this situation assuming Kohai flips scum.

For Kohai's meta I have noticed they have a strong habit of listing their scum partners in the bottom of their reads as scum. They voice Pie as their strongest town read in 373 which would be out of character. Then Pie was the first to confirm I was correct that the 3 choice pool info was TMI. Past that they have looked pretty decent to me today.

Abandoning the drunk shtick now would only confirm his guilt and eliminate any possibility of averting a lynch. A self-vote can be unvoted; nothing can erase the evidence of abandoning drunkvoice completely and not getting modkilled.

That said, I'm open to hearing arguments that I'm wrong. As I see it, he got caught in a lie about what the moderator told him, admitted it was a lie, said it was a reaction test, failed to say what he gleaned from said test, then changed his story and said he just misunderstood Lunatic. How does this add up to innocence?

Really though, If people want to hard question if he was honest about the RT we can still look at the other factors. How likely the drunk thing is, how likely the semi-bastard mod kill thing is, how likely it is for Russa to be a scum flavor. There is lots of other questions that could be talked about.

I have personally faked scum slips and all sorts of wild stuff to break RVS and get the game rolling D1 but I always consider the exit and do things like softing I was gona do it first so it does not blow up in my face. i havent read your big post yet, ive got like 3 ppl arguing with me about it so ill have to go thru that later, but its not so mch that im convinced hes town, mor that i dont really feel that confident about it. i dont see y to go thru all this effort with the drunk posting frst of all if hes scum, theres better claims. scnd wehn weve seen him as scum before he has slipped, but this isnt a standard slip it is much different, its based on a play he was making as a bait. i agree it is a stupid play, but he seems genuine. i also dont get why he continues the drunk thing after voting for himself and accepting defeat. i think he made a bad decision, but sometimes town do that too, we have seen it a lot, and i know for one i have done it a lot too. if he is the lynch im fine with it, i understand it, but i think we should be looking at people who are all in on this and not givin him any town credence. i just dont see why no one can see a world where he is town.

I can see a world where he is town, but I don’t think it’s likely, and Mafia is a game of working from what is most likely true, not what is guaranteed.

Honestly, I think that appealing to, “it’s an outside possibility, but we should act as though it’s a serious risk”, is the archetypal scumtell, and not just from Banana.
