full transparencee i totally spaced on my night action. i forgot i was just an even night roleblocker and tried to roleblock thoth. havent checked discord until just now tho and i guess night phase is already over and i see a message from rex saying i cant do that since im a strengther on odd nights. so i dont know if that counts as a strengthen on thoth or if my role just was waived. i asked rex and will let u know what he says. but yeah mb, not checking in on discord and the site as often may have made me waste an action

gonna be more active now, i promise. had stuff going on b4.

okay so im a little sus of wryly claiming watcher now that we know that wylted had a watcher abilitee bcuz he could get a result and use it to confirm her. that or it could have just been coincdence that this was her claim. i am interested to hear her result, but will not be super surprised if she fakes seeing me or thoth visit pie, who seems the obvius kill target, so if she claims visiting anyone else that will be sus. she is either gonna claim a result here or say she was interfeered with or something. then we will have to go from there to see if we believe her answer.

so iirc u were a rolestopper night one, a commuter night two? i think u should probly full claim here, any reason to hide info anymore?

looking at wylteds abilties he was trying to set something up for the mirror claim i think np1. kind of loosely explains what he was doing with thoth when he claimed he rolecopped him and saw he was a joat. i think its clear he used the rolecop on pie np2 since theres no other way he culd know he was a tracker. so assuming thoth is town, np1 he had to have used the watcher either on himself or wryly in the scenario she is the scum partner since he said the rolestopper would have stopped him and he wasnt role stopped. the other possibility is he is scum with wylted, and that means he did use the mirror np1, i just dont really know what the strategy was there if so. maybe a bus? because the contradction in the result led thoth to push wylted for lying, maybe hoping to buy him towncred, still a wierd strategy for a bus tho, as it doesn't really confirm thoth or even make him look all that good from doin it.

also noting that u thought there would be multple protective abilities since you were planning a commuter, which is a reasonble assumptun if you were only a commuter.

okay so remembering wryly claimed odd night watcher now and watching wf.

meaning that if she is wylteds scum partner, wylted mirrored np1 which contradicts what thoth said right?

whats hangin me up is that pie was an every night tracker, she is an odd night watcher, and luna was an even night cop. the odd/even between her and luna kind of makes sense, but watcher and tracker are more known counter parts to each other so why would the tracker be every night but the watcher be odd only?

i think this is mechanically solveable but im struggling to put the pieces together

pie is gonna yell at me in the endgame cuz it was something super obvious and im missing it,

sorting and isolatin relevant info;

wryly-np1 watches wf, sees nothing. if telling the truth then vader was killed or the other scum has a ninja or redirect ability or something

thoth- np1 used role stopper, used it on Wylted. if telling the truth then Wylteds action didn’t go thru.

wtlted- np1 claims role copped Thoth and got his own role back. we know this is false since he role copped pie np2 and got a tracker which pie hadn’t claimed. so he used a watcher or a mirror. if Thoth is his town then he is setting up for his mirror role to do some sort of confirmation i think. if thoth is scum i dont know what their play or plan was here except for a half baked bus or sumthing.

wrylys result probably turns this into a 1 v 1 and solves this anyway to a 50/50, but in the off chance she claims no result it’s possible there is just a ninja or redirect and she’s town or she is scum taking the safe route to see who is easier to lynch between me and thoth.

so probly best to just wait on wryly for now, and think about this stuff afterwards

going to ask Rex a few questions about how roleblocks and stops interact with a mirror

rex got back to me, said that he entered my action is as a strengthen on thoth, so it was completely wasted ig.

would scum wryly have been that fearless to claim watcher with her scum partner having one? they would really have to be banking on wylted not dying, which she pretty willingly voted for him last day phase. could be sunk cost, maybe they realized he was dying anyway and wanted to be on board to use it later. but that requires us to believe there is two watchers, one being a 1x, the other an odd night, with an every night tracker and even cop. which is ig possible but a lot.

if thoth was scum this was a wierd thing for him to say after wylted was lynched.

the more and more i am thinking about this the more and more i think this is going to be between me and wryly. and me not using my night action correctly wont help my case. only defense i have for that in advance is why would i go through the hope of tryin to convince u guys im a dum dum as mafia instead of have a plan laid out for my night action. the dum dum play is not an optimal mafia strtgy.

trying to decide if theres anything to decifer with thoths d1 insistance that wryly was actually candace owens now that we know wylted is candace owens. not sure we had any reason to believe candace owens would be scum at that point. and that was a big talking point for him early on

i asked rex how a roleblocker and a rolestopper interact with a mirror. he said "If a roleblocker targeted his mirror they would reflect back on themselves and receive a 'your role failed' message. If a rolestopper targeted him the role would also be reflected back on himself, so that anyone targeted the rolestopper would be roleblocked, but they would receive no indication that their night action was reflected."

asking rex some clarifyin questions about this because idk what he means by "his" mirror i thought the role was a catch all to all visitors

so if wylted used mirror np1 thoth wouldnt have known he was roleblocked. he could have watched himself. trying to figure out what his plan was with the "thoth is a joat" thing then. reading the isos between him and thoth it definitely seemed like he was setting up something with the mirror just dont know exactly what. then np2 im confused why my role failed. only thing that could explain it that i know of is if i was rolestopped by thoth. which would be sussy because he claimed to commute that night phase. that or the other scum has a redirect and redirected me to wylted, which is possible but seems a bit more far fetched than me just being rolestopped. hmm

I've completely let theme analysis fall by the wayside here, but it looks like Thoth is correct and our characters have beef with Candace. The question then is if the theme split is as simple as Candace vs the world, if wylted was dumb enough to just straight claim Candace as scum, and what character his scum partner would've been given.

just asked rex if i would recieve an action failed message if i was rolestopped, he said no, only if i target someone who was rolestopped.

so confused. because i targeted pie np2 and got an action failed. pie never confirmed that he was rolestopped did he? i wish he did. but pie didnt say any results so im assuming he had none, he either got a townie looking result night phase 1 and 2, or maybe just night one and then was rolestopped night two. if he was rolestopped night two that means thoth lied and is scum tho because i targeted pie and my action failed and the only role i can see that could do that is thoths role stop.

so... its possible something else could have made my action fail, rex wont give me specifcs and he said there could be other things that did it, but i got to say that this doesnt look good for thoth fmpov

I watched Pie and I saw nothing, so I'm fucked. I really don't need the stress of LYLO in my life rn lol. I was sure Banana would strengthen me, so now I have to weigh the wifom of whether she made an honest mistake or not. Neither of you hammered wylted DP2, neither of you are even role confirmed, Pie sussed you both at the end, and I have no way to mechanically confirm myself to whichever of you is town.

If Banana is town I feel like I should've seen Thoth visit Pie, because he would've assumed she would Strengthen me and there's no way for a single scum to really do anything about that, as far as I can think -- if he blocks or redirects Banana's Strengthener, I still see him visit Pie for the NK; if he blocks or redirects me, it doesn't work because Banana strengthened me. What am I missing here mechanically? If I saw nothing then they had a Ninja left, I assume. A Ninja would've been undetectable to both Pie and myself, so they could've just killed Banana and not had to worry about a Strengthener messing anything up. Could be they just didn't want Pie's mech wit in LYLO. Or they saw me townreading Pie last DP and couldn't afford to have him in the final three.
