Casey really didn’t say much last DP. All I noticed was the friendliness in trying to greet people, which kinda looking like trying to get townread based on vibes to me.

I mulled Whiteflame over. I just don’t have any concrete proof.

assume Casey/mag1c:

people are saying I’m a strong pairing with Casey if Casey flips scum after the NP.

at least one person (Thoth) was saying Hyper or Whiteflame could be paired with me if I flipped scum.

Casey/Mag1c’s play would then be to kill Mag1c, keep Thoth, Casey, and Whiteflame/Hyper alive for f3.

Instead we have Mag1c, Thoth, Whiteflame. After a Casey scum flip.

If I’m scum I just threw myself into an endgame designed to screw me. I’m town. Think on the incentives, please.

I was open to the possibility of you/WF and you/Hyper because I was pretty sure you were scum. I never considered them top scum candidates. Magic/Casey just kills Casey because they are probably less able to make a good case than you are.

And suggesting that WF or Hyper was Magic’s likely scummate was before I correctly pivoted to Casey as likely scum.

#188, why insinuate distancing from whiteflame and then write off the possibility of him being scum?

Alright, there's a lot of WIFOM analysis when it comes to who would be more likely to take the bullet vs. Casey and if I'm being honest, I'm not sure I buy either one all that well. Casey was just gone for a lot of the DP, so it's a fair chance that whoever was their partner had incentive to eliminate them just because they might not be active at all this DP. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Casey asked to be killed, though probably not until after DP1 ended or at least later into the DP. I'm going to re-read a bit, then make a decision. And no, this one isn't coming with a mile long explanation. It'll just be a vote.

GG. Thoth was posting really towny near the end of the day, I wish I made that more clear but looks like everything worked out anyway. Whiteflame, it was great to be town with you, and awesome5000, sorry about the miselimination. Scum generally played pretty well, I think this setup is just tricky unless you put a lot of work into distancing.

My reads were okay, highlight was probably calling out the plausible pairing. Appreciate the shout-out by Kohai, though personally I think whiteflame deserved it for the good final 3 play. Hopefully I'll find the time to join another game here sometime.
