I'm royally confused with this entire setup and mech. From what I'm seeing an empath can see if the player above or below them in the player list is evil which means from their pov either whiteflame and / or rex has to be scum.
I'm not getting this mech at all. This seems extremely OP'd in a small player game.

i was just about to say this. asked thoth and he said they dont start in a pm together. the demon knows the minions, the minions know the demon, the minions do not know each other tho. it would be beneficial for them to be in a pm together. so we might need to look at ppl trying to create chats for weird reasons.
I particularly agree with that last sentiment. We should all be careful to consider why each chat is made.

so if shinings info is correct, one of rex and whiteflame is scum. i was waiting for clarfiction from shining but hes not responding so i asked the mod, and he said adjact on the player list does mean "next" to you on the player list and he added that first and last slots also count as adjacent. so that means either what mag said is true, and the host decided to mess with shinings results pre game (i explained why i dont think that makes sense. the host sounds like he interferes with results only based on whose winning and losing).
or it means one of rex and wf are scum. rex seems to be claiming virgin.

I can understand the logic here to an extent, but given what we know about Poisoning and Drunkenness and assuming that both yours and Shining's roles exist in the game, I don't get why you'd assume they aren't capable of being messed with. Especially with Drunkenness, Drunk is a prescribed role, and a modifier Thoth explicitly said was up to his discretion in the OP. I don't get why that implies later impacts, particularly with two investigative results available this DP.
As for claiming the Virgin, if that's what Rex is doing, then setting aside the question of why he hasn't just outed himself already, there's not a good way to test it without risking a Town auto-lynch. If someone does test it and survives, then he's either lying or that person is scum... or an Outsider I guess. I'm a little unclear on this, since it seems like the explanation for Virgin restricts the effect solely to Townsfolk.
Also, I'd like an answer to my earlier questions if you get a chance.

its kind of a stretch to call mine an investigative, it just tells us how many factions there are. but the phrasing of the mod thingy makes it sound like it would interfere with results as the game goes on so why would there not be multiple investigatives anyway? the list of roles containts many of them. drunk is a role? huh where r u getting that
