whiteflame ignore me im dumb i re read the OP.
Ignoring results for a moment, this is where I'm at behaviorally
Living Players (other than myself)
Magoroth
Neros
whiteflame
wylted
Lock town via town slip
ILikePie5
Banana
Strong town via behavior
awesome5000
Shining
RexFavilla
Leaving a poe of
Magoroth
Neros
whiteflame
wylted
Will elaborate more on the rest later. Pie and banana both demonstrated town slips. Pie not knowing about another player taking demon's place + banana not knowing about n0 is something that strongly implies they are both town.
"Kohai, your entrance to the thread was legendary, you had a solve and a winning PoE right when you showed up, super impressive stuff, even more so considering it wasn't even your objective!!" - Zrein
me n kohai in a chat with thoth asking questions. thoth said that storytelling isnt free form bastard, its just control over results that demons and minions already messed with.
like if a cop investigated someone and they were poisoned, the mod could say something like "you see pie investigates as fluffy puppies" instead of giving them a result. he cannot change results if there isnt a mechanic like drunk, poison, spy, recluse, mayor etc.
good to know

Can confirm this info.
This game really makes my brain hurt

ALL RESULTS ARE USELESS. if there is a spy he knows all roles from np0

I'm royally confused with this entire setup and mech. From what I'm seeing an empath can see if the player above or below them in the player list is evil which means from their pov either whiteflame and / or rex has to be scum.
I'm not getting this mech at all. This seems extremely OP'd in a small player game.
I thought so too at first, then realised we don’t get flips, so in fact it’s not as OP as you might think.

here we go again
Scum? I thought you were Town last game based on your first few posts but I’m getting the opposite vibes this game.
I AM VOTING AWESOME IN SPIRIT

I want everyone to look at this post and check if they can see what I’m seeing. If Kohai is scum there’s a very good chance Banana’s Town and her information is accurate.
To be clear, my results say that ONE of Rex and WF are scum, at least from what I gathered from Thoth.
So if I understand correctly Whiteflame has two results on him that implicate him as evil?
To be honest, I feel like results should be highly scrutinized because there are like 10 different ways for reports to be falsified. Not unlike mafia though. WF is my first pick.
I seem to recall Kohai getting frustrated from getting screwed over visibly as scum, but Kohai should be pressured as well.

ya thers a good chance the results are messed with, but i was telling kohai if there is any to be kind of trusted it would be np0 results since the minions wouldnt have had their chat yet. assuming there is a spy who knows who has every role, they wouldnt have been able to tell a hyothetical poisoner yet as they wouldnt be in a pm.
so its still worth presuring wf. also the poisoner would only be able to target one right? so two results that implicate wf is troubling.
theres a world where shinings result actually implictes rex though, and the poisoner got lucky to target awesome. idk theres some coincidences that could make wf town here.
on the other hand, it feels kinda bastard to give shining a np0 role like that and just throw an imp or demon on the list next to shining.
known pms
banana/wylted - started by wylted
banana/pie - started by pie
banana/kohai- started by kohai
kohai/whiteflame- started by kohai
wylted/whiteflame- started by wylted
pie/....everyone- started by pie
claims
banana - chef, one pair of evils
rex- virgin
shining- empath, one person adjacent is evil
awesome5000- fortune teller, one of pie and whiteflame is a demon the other is a red herring

Ok guys, I am fortune teller
N1 Pie and WF
at least of them is demon/red herring
take that for what you will
my opinion, mechanically wf needs to go
can u explain ur results to me? were u told specficly that they were demon, or were u given a yes and "red herring"? wondering what the odds are u actually chose the red herring np0 or if someone skewed ur results.
what did the results say exactly
I dunno if it’s that bastard. We would also have to figure out if the person in question was in fact evil, and they stay in the game and can continue to speak, but not vote. They still have an influence on the game and a death wouldnt be as bad as in a normal game

well if the person is a demon and we lynch then it’s auto game over. at best whoever is next to shining is prolly a minion i think
Wait what

There are two teams: Good and Evil. There are no neutrals. Townsfolk are Good. Outsiders are also Good, but have roles that hinder Good. The Demon and their Minions are Evil. Good wins when the Demon is eliminated. Evil wins when there are only two players alive and at least one of them is Evil, or when nothing can prevent this from occurring.
Damn, an actual night of sleep feels good.
Looks like there's another red check on me, so I'm good with claiming, I'm just asking in my chats if they'd like to hear it first. I'm in chats with Wylted, Pie and Kohai atm, so I'll leave it to them to decide.

All good, looks like you found it. I did ask Thoth the questions I'd posed to you earlier, so I'm fine leaving it here for now.
sorry i never saw the post with the questions, even when i looked for it lol

so im not familiar with this game. i have information tho and i dont see any reason not to tell it. im a chef, and i was told there is only one pair of evil players. i dont think there is any more utility to my role here so i dont see saying this publicly as a big risk
OK, looking at the role:
Chef | On Night 0, you learn how many adjacent pairs of Evil players there are. A player is part of two pairs, so, for example, if three Evil players are adjacent, this counts as two pairs.
I'm still puzzling over what that means. So does that mean that the Evil players are adjacent to one another, or am I missing something? While we're at it, could this pair include a Recluse?
This, fwiw.
i am openly suspicious of people who opened chats btw. we know demons and minions have to get in one. pie opening up one with every player is a good way to look like hes doing something townie by opening up all lines of investigation, while also covering for him to open up one with his minion partner and not being asked why.
if its pie tho then wf would be cleared if awesomes results werent poisoned. something to chew on

oh didnt see that. i assumed it just meant there was only one scum faction. now that i am re reading the role im wondering if "one pair of evil players" just means two scum, one minion, one demon. for some reason i was assuming there was 1 demon and 2 minions based on the wording of the op

Yeah, I had a similar thought. I can't help but wonder if scum would hold on forming those chats for this very reason, though. It was pretty strongly telegraphed that forming those chats would put anyone who did under the microscope. Might not stop some players from doing it, but those would be bigger risk-takers and people who didn't read the OP too closely.
do outsiders show up as good on investigative reports?

i am accouting for scum holding on opening pms as well. i will give the same scrutiny to later opened pms as i am to early ones tho. not that it really means anything outstanding since good ppl could just wanna chat with ppl too

Now that I'm looking at it, Thoth responded to me regarding Shining's result, not yours. He was clear, however, that a theoretical Recluse could be in both of your results. Since no one has claimed it yet, though, that's not something I'm strongly considering.
