My entire ISO has been pushing scum. Both pie and Kohai. So I dont know how accurately scum reading people is "strange". You can say I was bussing, but I was consistent with my reads from day phase one, when everyone left alive is guaranteed to have been town, so spinning it as a bus really makes no sense here.
