Yes, I realise it’s a dumb reason but it’s better than nothing at this stage. I’m just trying to make a comparison for myself.

I would be in favour of taking 48h or less for each day phase personally

24h would be better time wise but its really short

From memory this site usually gets active 2-4 hours from now.

I am apathetic as to setting some hard timer for day phases. Its a dynamic I have not delt with before but I could see value in running things out naturally depending on participation unless things start to really drag out. And even then I feel that will itself be an indicator we can use to hunt with as Mafia will have motive to drag their feet looking at next Tuesday as the guaranteed win.

I haven't really thought about it much. At some point I will do my usual thing and look at how many eliminations town can afford and how much time we have, but motivation is lacking at the moment.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

It's a year since she got major surgery, but she's doing significantly better. I appreciate this, though.

Yes. I voted for myself.

I hard claimed popular and invited people to test my claim.

They claimed a "Popular" role modifier. This means for them to be eliminated they will require 1 extra vote. This can be proven by voting them to verify they do not get eliminated.

I personally just didn't care. I could see either Town or Wolves having such a modifier and I simply believe their claim given how easily it can be verified. So I accepted it as truth and moved on.

He's claimed a role called "Popular," which works by allowing him to take an extra vote before getting eliminated. The OP says 5 votes to lynch, but he would take 6. So he's encouraging others to also vote him to test that, showing that his role is what he says it is.

I'm willing to at least confirm it, though I agree with Helz that there is some minor risk of a hammer resulting from it. I think if someone does end up hammering this, though, they should know there will be extra scrutiny on them. I also recognize that the confirmation of his role isn't indicative of his alignment, but it's still worth confirming.

That's up to you. I wouldn't view it as sus either way, especially since you're relatively new to this. From where I'm sitting, there's little harm in testing the role, but we don't absolutely have to do it and others might do so if you don't.

Alright, so first off, flavor claiming. There's been a lot of that going around this game and I'm hesitant to hop on that train. I think giving away my character gives at least some indication of what my role is, so I'm going to abstain. I will say, unlike what some of you have stated, Epstein is prominent in my PM.

Regarding the claims we've gotten so far, all of them seem at least somewhat believable. Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson are among the bigger names known to have associated with Epstein/gone to the island, and while I don't exactly have him as a household name, Ehud Barak had close ties with Epstein. The relationship is weaker with David Copperfield. Still, I think it's pretty likely based on the nature of the claim that at least NoAh is likely town. Don't think any scum partner would advise him to out as he has, especially given that they'd likely have to have asked about their characters before claiming. Given that they can ask, though, no character claim is a given besides a couple that I think seem pretty obvious are going to be here.
