Here’s an idea. You could soft. Give Lunatic a code word that relates to your role, that only he could know from your past conversations with him.

Gimme a sec to think of one for my role as an example.

If he catches the hint and townreads you off it, you don’t claim.

Pie and occasionally you are the only Mafia players I ever saw on the actual forums, and I never was much on the discord server until recently.

As for what happened yesterday, I had a theory and it didn’t work out.

Im shocked at a hider in a 9player game, especially for Pie. And I guess Mikal just plays hider differently than I do.

Honestly wish Mikal had been more active and more responsive to your arguments, his absence of an explanation for why he didn't decide to bait an NK was a contributing factor for my vote switch.

Honestly, I was just about to claim anyway. Alyss is a diplomat and went on a mission to investigate Lord Syron's death but got captured. However, I was still able to communicate with someone named Will using the Diplomatic Code. Therefore I am the Emissary. I was told info about a town-aligned player at the beginning of the game, namely that they were from Redmont Fief. Obviously that was Whiteflame. I was thinking there was maybe a small chance that someone else would claim the same fief, in which case I would know they were almost definitely lying.

What have Casey's red flags been for you?

Welp, I think I'm forced to claim here. I'm Malcolm, a skilled healer who hides out in Grimsdell Forest and has helped out the Rangers more than once. Thus I am the 2x Doctor.

Last NP I just didn't have a good read on anyone and waived, which was a newb mistake, I see now. Should've taken a shot in the dark knowing I might not have another chance. Mikal and whiteflame, as well as Thoth, seemed to have made the most effort in sussing people out, and I was tempted to pick one of them, but I just wasn't sure and decided to save my shots. Newb indecision.

I can't shake the feeling that Luna just tricked 3 townies into claiming. It's just, Dreamer based on Morgarath being ambitious and tenacious? I have no experience with how dreamers are justified, but that seems kind of loose.
