MAFIA WIN
This game was super interesting and I actually think it turned out better than what I had expected it to be. Whiteflame and Shining made a pretty good team and worked really well. Clean victory from them despite the mistake I made, which, yes, I did make a mistake.
When Thoth submitted his actions to me, his first initial choice was to change the vote to Mag1c if the lynching was on him. This is what I assumed until he changed it in the early hours of the night to ANY lynch. I didn't pay enough attention and didn't register the action, and just thought he was confirming his original actions. It ended up helping the town more than it hurt them. To compensate for this mishap on the scum's part, I allowed them to get a rolecop that would have been used that NP if I properly registered the lynch.
Overall, this game had some big mishaps from town perspective. The purpose of the governor and hated was for them to confirm each other while also picking a target for Governor to use. It's optimal to use that, but it was severely mismanaged on that end. Other than that I just think mafia made the right moves and I think the way I set up the game made it so that skepticism builds within the town caused people to mislook at reads.
Overall, I think this game had an interesting balance setup. I purposefully made 3 investigative roles because there was no true healing role. With the tailor role played into it as well, it could have been easily used to give the mafia an advantage and raise skepticism. I do think that if the Governor was used with Hated, it could've been a very unbalanced setup, even a bastard. But I do think this was swingy. Scum had access to all counters besides the Sensor, which was only 1x and could not be manipulated by any actions.
Thanks for playing.
