Thats exactly what you’re endorsing based on your premise that “scum could fake what you did.” They can fake a lot of shit including PMs, but that doesn’t mean it should be allowed.

At this point you’re just repeating the same point and not addressing the heart of the issue. Not really sure what to say to you. Again it’s your game, you wanna bastard mod that’s on you. It just takes away from everyone else’s experience.

I stand by my actions. You’re the only one that seems to have a problem with it, which is fine with me. Most everyone seemed to enjoy the game

Using more than one collective brain cell, using context of the game, and most likely lynching you because of it because again, it doesn’t town confirm you

I think Luna's level of "paraphrasing" would get your essay referred to academic affairs

I feel I should say I believe I was wrong about thinking Luna liked posts after death. There was a communication issue with the information I was given there and I do not like to be critical of people unfairly.

I will also say what I have said in DM's to both Pie and Luna is pretty clear. I agree with the mod kill on level 2 of my scale with the aggravating factor of it happening after multiple players flatly cautioning Luna prior to them posting. When you are flatly told by other players (not even the mod) that you are doing something sketchy and choose to go down that road it removes a lot of "I thought it was ok" or "I feel its unreasonable"

The piece I question is if it was necessary to close the day. That made a players action impact the day cycle more strongly not less. And I will again say the 'Must I' burden is questionable but the 'Can I' was absolutely met if we are talking about rule breaks.

The modkill on Lunatic was debatable, imo. If this were my game, I think I would have had some choice words for Lunatic, but not modkilled him because it’s plausible that he could have been faking it, and the main point of the no-copypasting rule is to stop people from verifying their claim with something obviously in the mod’s writing style.

Thank you, Helz. That said I realized how serious of an issue this could potentially. become. I decided to remove the like button on active mafia games entirely.

When paraphrasing there's a "4 word" rule of thumb, if you have more than 4 words in a row that's the same from the original that's not paraphrasing. That said this is a mafia game, not an academic journal, so there should be leniency on that. And I disagree that mafia could have just done the same, mafia do not have a direct template when fake claiming, that's why the paraphrase rule is in place.

Tbh I appreciate Pie laying down the law and support his authoritarian crackdown. But I also think people should be pistol whipped for watching media without headphones on public transit so I'm definitely on one end of that spectrum.

Fuck rule of thumbs, context matters lol. Banning severely hurts and impacts the game and should be used moderately. You have to weigh the consequence of modkill vs the impact it has on the game.
