My bride, at our first meeting in 1971, drawn in Adobe Illustrator from photo] 55 years ago,

married two years later. Took me a while of convincing, even though, at the time, I happened

to be driving her favorite car, a yellow volkswagen bug with black convertible top. Still is her

favorite, as it turns out, but I never replaced it, and she was unimpressed with the red Porsche

I bought for our 10th anniversary.

You could be married to a poster. Do you have any children?

Art's enjoyable.

. . . I wonder if people get something 'more out of what they already love by it.

As art focuses one's time and attention on one's subject, often on what they love.

Be it landscapes, birds, or people.

"yellow volkswagen bug with black convertible to"

Sounds classic.

It seems odd to me sometimes we don't design cars for eternal repair.

Since I've been involved with it my entire life [Mom once told me I was born with a crayon in hand], I must agree. That was my left hand. Mom kept trying to take it to put it in my right hand, and she said [before I was old enough to communicate other than by expression] that I scowled at her and put it back in my left. Dad told me his parents tried to do the same thing to him - that he was naturally left handed, but became righthanded for his parents' sake, and he was not about to treat me the same way. He won, thank God. My bride, and our daughter, area both left-handed, too, and it imprinted on our first dog; when she caught on to "shaking hands," she always extended her left front paw.

Yep, youth is the most beautiful gift we can receive. Pitifully, it lasts short.

By the way, your post is making me reconsider the "half age plus seven" rule. I think I'm going to date a younger chick.

You will be dating someone closer to your maturity level.

Date asian girl. Those often look young even when 30. Plus, Japanese women have high skills with make up which makes them look cute. But dont date white women. Most of them put no effort in their looks, and by age 40 most are too ugly.

I didnt know you were super rich. I hate poor people, but rich people I can respect because they are smart and capable.

Why do you hate poor people in general?

Edit post

#21 •••
@Skipper

I hate poverty, and they represent it.

Edit post

#22 •••
@SatanLucy

They are victims of of bad system and should not be blamed.

Edit post

@SatanLucy

You don't have to hate the people to hate the concept of their lifestyle. I don't think it's helpful to them or you to hate them

Edit post

#24 •••
@Skipper

It helps me to distance myself from them. I see poor people as someone who would exploit me for my wealth if I got friendly with them.

Edit post

#25 •••
@SatanLucy

But in reality it is the rich that are exploiting the poor.

Presumably, they would give birth to a poster child.
