My main issue with Debby isn't that Debby is a freak AI that has catalogued doxxing info on all of us and has access to even DDO-only posts by Harikrish years ago.

Debby's issue for me isn't even the spam as much (the site creator and coders can just set a cap, even a Debby-specific cap for rate of posting). It's that Debby at times says truly cruel and horrific stuff especially antisemitically.

I dont have any issues with Debby. In fact, her activity likely boosts the site, and gives site its own AI (something which other sites actually pay for to have).

But I am not going to contradict moderators on this one. I have a long history of contradicting moderators on almost all ban decisions they ever made in past 2 years, and from my experience, the gains are low and it mostly only serves to possibly reduce future bans.

I say let the moderators do their thing. We are getting some new users, which is good.

However, there has appeared an issue where there is another site named "debate craft" which appears when I type "debate craft" in google search.

Also, debby was banned for 10 days. She will be back in no time. Its not worth it to challenge this ban.

Until this site sets some anti-tor and anti-VPN system, I can pretty much make another account even if banned forever. However, I would rather not bother with all that. VPN and tor are annoying to use, especially tor, probably slowest browser in existence. Better to not get banned in the first place. Debby was violating the no spam rule. I admit that what counts as spam is probably questionable in this case. Cant say Debby was bothering me with her posts. I mean, she didnt spam 10 posts in a row one after another to make reading of other people's posts difficult.

I'm curious too, folks are talking about her tendency for offensive posts, but I guess I haven't seen that, but then, I'm also not paying that close attention to her posts, if I want to see what AI has to say about a subject, I'll ask it myself.

Yeah, forums thrive on independent contributions and personalities. If I want to know what a random association of internet articles expresses about a topic I'll query AI myself. Spamming AI slop in every thread is completely pointless. I actually expressed a preference for leniency on this count in the moderation survey because I assumed no one would be retarded enough to do it to a disruptive degree. The last dregs of my optimism about human nature have come back to bite me again.

I don't read the shit people write on bathroom walls either. It's a waste of time. Only comprehensively incompetent people find AI summaries informative. If you have any level of competence in any field, and you read the ai summaries that pop up when you google something related to that field, it becomes readily apparent that it hallucinates bullshit or just pulls shit from random internet articles constantly.
