The purpose of life is entirely found inside of the New Testament of the Bible.
The way life came about is found in the Old Testament but whether you want to be very literal or not, about that timeline of events, is your perogative.
All else that philosophically suggests stuff contradictory to the Bible or completely separate to it in terms of how and why we are here is pretty much a farce. If you are trapped in a nation, community and/or family that prevent you becoming a Protestant Christian, the likelihood is that the community has a lot of depravity going on as well as quiet tyranny.
You also shouldn't trust this website entirely so even if you can trust me, DMing me with details isn't going to save you. Pray to Lord Yeshua, commonly known as Jesus. He, his Father and the Holy Spirit will guide you.
The only correct way to understand Trinity is that which was banned by the Catholic Church as heresy they even killed for; partialism. I am a heretic-to-many Evangelical Christian that would be more than happy to guide you along the path.
I lean heavily Baptist-thinking over Pentecostal but I am not any 'denominationalist' it's just a fact that infant baptism is not a real water baptism because the infant lacks informed faith in The crucifixion, resurrection, Trinitarian God and the Bible.
No sacraments will save you. No tradition will save you. The Bible and the God as revealed specifically in the New Testament, will save you but indeed try to end up reading all of it (don't rush it, start with the New, most start with Gospel of Matthew but in my opinion Luke is my favourite).
Never fear persecution itself, however be sensible and tread lightly if it really can ruin your life to come out as a low-church Christian.
Don't worry about attending specifically a Baptist church, the Baptist approach lets you attend almost any (but I heavily advise against a Catholic as they make you pray to Mary during the Mass itself). Avoid communion bread/wine from denominations that demand you to confirm into them for it.
Live for Yeshua, Father and the Holy Spirit. They are the only Godhead there is to worship and the Son is the only way to the Father.
