I suggest removing limitations so that new members can join server instantly. Dont make them go through "I agree to rules" nonsense.

I join a discord server. I wait a bit. Then I send members invite in private messages. It got me banned from one discord server, but who cares. I got like 12 people to join in one day.
Private invitations work so much better than ads, so damn much better.

I don't check for reputation of people I invite. That would take too much work. I invite as much as I can, and those who come, great. Of course there is going to be problematic members, but same would happen if we grew naturally.

I suggest we form a special group for this task.
While I alone can long term maybe get 5 to 10 new members per day, a group of 3 to 4 people would likely achieve consistent 20 new members each day, and its not difficult work if we divide the work.
this group will be off records, no mention of it on discord server, only in private messages, with use of alt accounts only. Dont use main account.
Each member only send 3 invites per day to avoid being labeled as spammer by discord. So each day, just invite 3 people.
Dont send invites to mods of servers.
Farm one server until banned or no more members to invite. then move to next server.
Find servers on google search. Its easy.
Dont post anything in those servers.
If banned from one server, dont join back immediately by another alt. Wait about a week or two.
Only send invites in private messages, not publicly in server.
If anyone is interested in joining this special group, let me know. the work is simple and easy. takes only few minutes a day.
If someone in private messages asks what server is about, say something like: "Fun debate server. It also has entertainment channels for shitposting."
Also, go offline after inviting. So servers dont see you easily. Or maybe just leave server and come back later.

Course, 'without the internet, I might be unlikely to find a debating community in the town I live in. . . Maybe. (Shrug) If no one had internet, people would be more face to face local with their interests. Maybe there 'would be a small debate club where I live.

Though I would suggest that relative to human nature a small local debate club would still be niche and quickly resolve into a natural pecking order...Wherein the obnoxious would dominate and the thoughtful would soon become disaffected...Ultimately resulting in the clubs demise.
Dominion is harder to achieve remotely and therefore affords a certain equality to it's participant members.

I invite a lot of people. Of course, the ones more likely to accept are those rejected by many other servers. But we better not be picky. Also, greatful will be happy if some muslims come to server as well. Also, few really good debaters came too, and one joined this site as well as discord. Our server needs many members so it starts showing up on google search.
