I cant play any of new games on laptop because 8 GB RAM laptop doesnt support that many games. Tho my next laptop, I will find some cheap with 32 GB RAM.

Star Wars KOTOR is also good story, but gameplay combat is so annoying that I cant believe they actually made it as part of a game.

Dead Effect is great combat system, but story isnt exactly anything special.

Final Fantasy in most cases is good story and somewhat decent acceptable combat.

Dishonored is most amazing story and definitely one of best combat systems in existence.

Fable is likewise great story with great combat.

Today's kids are so lucky to be born at the time of plenty, tho. If I had AI as a kid, I would be so happy. But then again, I would also miss out on what today's kids miss out, for example anime like Actionman and Yugioh original season, as well as Iron Kid. Some anime and cartoons from my time were simply so much better than 99% of today's stuff which is on TV. But maybe thats just my brain being biased by happy memories.

KotOR and Fable are good games but didn't really make me tear up. I very nearly purchased Dishonored a few months ago but worried it was a bit too dated.

Really? Fable didnt make you cry? Its one of most tragic stories I ever saw in a game.

But it being at the start meant limited time to build connection.

You have to flip those little colourful discs into a dangerous receptacle, usually a small plastic beaker.

Doubt that it would pass rigorous safety checks these days.

Could always pop down the store and buy your kid a gun to play with instead.

They are popular toys in American schools, guaranteed to induce "tearing up".

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - definitely had me tearing up at the end when Fi vanished into the sword. As much as I'm not the biggest fan of Fi the departure of Fi definitely had me tearing up.

Masquerada: Songs and Shadows (fucking fantastic game)

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (the opening scene where Talion's entire family gets killed in front of him. Fuck...)

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (when Lann dies... T_T)

RDR2 for sure

Telltale's The Walking Dead 1-2 (if you don't go through an entire box of tissues playing those games then idk if I can call you human)

and probably others that I can't remember after briefly scanning my steam library.

I always hated this line of thought. It's all just storytelling. Video games, tv shows, movies, books, plays, good ol' fashion oration - just different mediums for the same thing. You can have preferences of the medium of choice - that's totally valid, but trying to say that certain mediums are invalid is just weird*.
