I am mainly on tik tok. Easier to make videos than on Youtube. I have Youtube too, but it never really went anywhere other than that one AI video having 80,000 views. And since I cant bother to post on both, I decided to mainly stick to tik tok because tik tok is much better than youtube in many ways, video creation being one of more important things. My only issue with tik tok is insane censorship, where basically every offensive word is censored.
I'd figure it 'is easier to stick with one platform.

Yes, you reach most people by having most platforms. Same with online sales, selling on multiple platforms improves rate of sales.
However, when it comes to social life and posting content, posting on more than one platform is a lot of bother. Posting on just 2 platforms is double more work. Posting on 3 or 4 platforms becomes like a job which doesnt really pay off, because you also have to respond to comments and follows, and doing all that on 4 platforms means spending hours a day doing just that.
I use tik tok because its easiest platform to gain followers. I have more followers on one tik tok account than on all other platforms combined, almost 3000 followers.
tik tok has an established system where you gain followers easily by following and liking other people, because its easy to notify people that you exist.

Yeah, I dont have 3000 followers in real life. Reaching 3000 people in real life would probably be a lot more work.
It all depends on how you are received. Trump had millions of followers on Twitter before he was banned.
I sometimes wonder whether propaganda profiles and bots act horribly, so that people will take the opposite stance.
X supported bot says horrible stuff supporting Y, so that people will side with X.
I'm doubtful the right of protest allows people to block traffic and ambulances.
To my thinking right to protest, means right to publicly voice your opinion, which can be done outside, in big groups, 'ideally with permits.
Permits, that one does 'not block necessary services.

Distracted people, yes TV did so before, but internet is more powerful than TV, TV is single household box, no many internet tabs, limited to TV remote and channels.
Protesting helps people exercise their first amendment rights and that is useful in creating a more equitable society.
