Evolution is a name given to the ongoing process of material improvement...Off which, we like AI were/are also a consequence and integral part thereof...Though, quite reasonably we tend to assume that we were/are most special therein...And perhaps we were/are.

Though whether we will be special enough to see the objectives of material evolution all the way through to their conclusion obviously remains to be seen.

Of course, everything might be pointless and just fizzle out.

Well, I'd imagine that a country able to build and hold their nuclear weapons,

Generally has money for civilian infrastructure, since they had enough to build nukes,

Generally aren't being invaded and having their infrastructure ripped up, since they have nukes.

If America had enough robots and drones of quality,

Then boots on the ground could be pretty effective in some conflicts.

In terms of not upsetting the American public, who react strongly to fellow citizen casualties.

I wonder if it's a bit of a sailboat and water situation,

If I imagine a sailboat in space, I don't think it's sail would work so well, even if solar powered.

There's something of other about sailboats needing that 'water, something to push against? I forget.

It seems 'difficult to divorce that from Nurture.

I imagine certain natures tend towards 'good in certain Nurtures, certain environments.

But perhaps tend towards 'evil, in certain other 'Nurtures, certain 'other environments.

Nurture then, can only be understood by being combined in some way 'with Nurture.

. . . Course, maybe there are not 'so many different environments, that we could not come to an average.

Certain processes will work well on certain subjects, but not on others, same problem earlier with Nature I think.

Politician is a wide umbrella perhaps.

Eh, I'm sure there are courses, schools, that cater to the idea.

And. . Most Civil Servant jobs have tests I'd imagine.

. . Politicians though, doesn't I expect. . . But there's hurdles and requirements of some sort anywhere in life. . .

. . . . . . Still, might be nice if politicians 'took such tests, proving some familiarity with history or structure of government.

China had that Imperial Exam, but one could argue that was in a different time, when education was more rare perhaps.

Modern era. . . I'm not sure a businessman or a doctor have the qualifications of a politician though.

I think reading for knowledge and self improvement 'has to be structured, for me at least.

I forget information if I don't review it every so often.

So over life, as one acquires books one finds valuable, for art or function.

There ought be a stack of reread books.

And 'without set time table of study, it's easy to go years not rereading a book.

And difficulty is created in adding new books from To Read list, because one still has to reread old books, which one isn't doing.

. . . Of course I don't 'actually structure my reading, but it seems to me I 'ought.

I also admire how fauxlaw appears to reread books with a focused regularity.

I can't say I think much of insulting people, as a strategy of seeing people's 'so 'called true character.

Such behavior is the action of one 'unable to hold 'normal human relationships in my view.

Worse, such people who hold to such a standard, have a double standard, and often devolve into bullies themselves.

Periodically insulting overs to 'test whether they are 'good 'friends or not.

Yet if they receive any pushback, they conclude the other was a phony, a false friend.

Human relationships are a mix of give and take.

Not one sided abuse.

People aren't perfect, and many people are fairer weather friends. Such is human.

Though one feels thankful when they find friends that can last storms, or be such themselves in return.

For the individual,

Should personal experiences not rate highly for what 'that person believes?

Sure it's not reasonable to expect 'others to be convinced by your anecdotal evidence,

But personal experiences are something very real/known.

Sources, statistics, data,

Can be mistaken, misleading, gathered so in error or intent.

Not that I think such should be 'discounted,

But personal evidence 'should weighs heavy for what the experiencer believes, I think.

People get awfully ornery sometimes, about a third person interjecting or attempting to mediate an argument.

Insist that the argument is only between the two people.

The third person is 'still often going to interject their opinion I think.

But now, behind the gatekeepers back.

The gatekeeper then unable to criticize or appreciate said opinion.

The best way to deal with "awfully ornery" people is to ignore them.

Wanting to deal with "awfully ornery" people is perhaps itself a symptom of awfully orneriness.

Just sit down with a tea or a coffee and read a lovely book or listen to some lovely music or stroke the cat or stroke whatever takes your fancy...Or be stroked fancifully.

Well, a villain turning good 'can be good.

I was thinking though, of when they make the villain super pathetic at the end.

'Sometimes it's in character or fits the moment,

But often it seems to me contrived, and unfitting of the moment. 'Especially when one hears the creator did the scene that way because they heard about some fans liking the villain.

Well if a potential sequel is planned, I'm guessing that the villain won't be killed, and therefore it's pretty standard practice for good to overcome evil and for the bad guy to be vanquished temporarily...Or they will just reinvent the bad guy next time.

Though the feel good factor format, whereby the good guy beats the bad guy and gets the girl is what mass audiences still want, I guess.

Though of course in the interests of equality and diversity the above statement can be be regarded variously...But alternatives are still perhaps a minority genre.
