You area talented transgender.
What are your most memorable moments?

Tbh, I can't insult you any more than you've insulted your own dignity, with what you turned yourself into.

This is a good insult for an ugly liberal woman.

Worse. Lower quality users in general. A lot of the users who joined at the tail end of the DART days irritate me. Less users as well. Restarting twice obviously hurt the community.
Back in 2016, the religion forum was considered the most toxic place. Surprisingly, it’s not so bad now, outside of Stephen being low hanging fruit, and generally obnoxious. Oh and whatever BK/LS has to say. But it is a much calmer place than it used to be.
The politics forum has become a lot more toxic over time. There were some pretty toxic debaters over there in 2016, but they’d all go hang out when not at each others’ throats over politics. We don’t really have that anymore, as all those users have either left the site or only play mafia now.
These days, outside of the occasional good thread, it’s a cesspit. Even I’ll admit I’ve fallen into the temptation of being toxic over there. Every now in then I feel like I want to create a good thread to help, but I never get around to it.
Mafia is doing ok. The fun over there depends on the size of the active player base, which ebbs and flows. Rn I’d say it’s in a down period, but the last game DART ever had had 17 players, which was the record for the site. DDO had a much more active mafia community, and website community.
The active development is an outstanding positive for this site. I don’t expect it to ever reach prime DDO numbers, but it could surpass DART if we just get a few good users to make great threads, have great debates, and just great mafia games.
I don’t know whether to be optimistic or pessimistic. With the current crop of users I’d be pessimistic, but the active development makes me want to be optimistic.

Sadly I am going to have to agree with you here. I really miss the good 'ol peak DDO days with really good high quality debates and topics. Plus AI slop has ruined the debating experience / forum experience for myself and others.

Ah yes I remember that all to well.

TBH I think mafia is the lifesupport that is keeping us alive.

Same. I'm happy to be part of the dev team. Having all the mods get code access is a big deal as we're not in the mercy of a single person or corporation

I don’t have anything interesting to say.
I guess I’d eventually learn about the wayback machine, and find my way over here by looking at old DDO and DART pages.
I’d probably make a thread asking who’s still around, who the new usernames are, if they all remember me. And then who knows.
