For most of my adult life my true passion has been Therapeutic Horseback Riding, formally called Hippotherapy, which uses horseback riding as therapy for a broad range of special needs, developmental disabilities, and illnesses, typically with children. I ran a therapeutic riding program for over 30 years, performed every role there is, from Program President to Mucking Stalls and Special Olympics Coach. What I loved most was always being in the ring working with the kids, I've worked as Certified Therapist, Leader, or Sidewalker, but the role I always loved most was performing the function that the Therapeutic Riding industry calls "Sidewalker". To me, it was a form of self-expression, I really do think of it as representing who I am.

And are you one of those "pick one username and never change it across different sites/accounts" types or do you like to mix it up

Sidewalker is the first and only username I've ever used.

My username is Satan Lucy.

Satan comes from being a Satan worshiper.

Lucy is short for Lucyfer, also it is female name for Lucifer.

Now, I go by many different usernames. I am not the type of person who sticks to one thing only.

Given how genuinely toxic and volatile Ive seen you be esp on DART I am shocked you kept such a job. Nazi images on the regular too.

My username has layers to what it means.

I am not gonna lay it all out.

There are more layers than you first assume. Some are taboo.

I just notice, accept and move on.

Leaning's the name I used on Debate.org,

I used it here because I'd become used to it.

I used Leaning on Debate.org because. . . Hm, I don't quite remember anymore.

Two possibilities,

My tendency towards middle grounds and leaning more one side than the other,

Or around the time I joined Debate.org I felt I was leaning a bad way in my beliefs and values.

I go by Leaning on Discord, because of how many people from the last few debating sites I interact with.

Not really known by Leaning anywhere else.

The Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric is a solution to Einstein’s field equations in general relativity, specifically formulated for an isotropic and homogeneous universe.

The very first novel (actually, maybe second) I tried to write, back in like 2012-2013 when I was a teenager, was absolutely, gobsmackingly unhinged and quite frankly the product of a disturbed young mind. I wrote up a synopsis for it on DDO at one point but even that didn't do justice to how frigging weird it was.

Anyway, it was a sci-fi divided into story arcs. One of them, among the last ones I wrote I think, had a character who was surgically modified so that his body and mind operated at a faster tempo than everyone else. He ended up roping the MC into the same condition somehow, then tried to seduce him to the "dark side" of the type of uninhibited sociopathy this arrangement would enable.

That character was not Bubba the Clown. Bubba was a side character. He was a man who constantly dressed like a scary clown and traveled from planet to planet living as a serial cannibal. Because for some reason he had fangs and craved human flesh. I don't remember what his connection to the main storyline of that arc was.

That became the name of my first DDO account. And for nostalgia's sake I decided 12-ish years later to reuse it for my account here.

Narratively, the name belongs to a legend. Despite whatever flaws the character has, it is hard not to romanticize him or see him through rose-tinted glasses.

The association of the name, what it represents for me personally cannot be verbalized. But this is the closest I come to it.

Actually, that is not any big surprise or even surprise. When I was a kid and was in therapy, person who provided therapy tried to blackmail me and threatened to subject me to injections if I reject therapy.

So I rejected therapy because I concluded person providing it was clearly insane, and submitting to blackmail would only make blackmail work and enable more blackmail.

What could he blackmail a kid with, unless you were terribly bad?

I like how you assumed a bad therapy provider was a he.

No, it was a she.

And she wanted to blackmail me to continue therapy by threatening with injections if I refuse.

But I saw through her. I logically defeated the abusive therapy provider.

And the therapy she was supposed to provide was for speech disorder, but she blackmailed me that if I dont quit video games, she will send me on injections. However, I quit therapy, because I dont want to enable abusive people to have jobs or success in life.

Your therapist would have found other patients. But you did not receive any therapy for your speech disorder.
