We all know this was coming up. Mandamni was only the beginning.

We are seeing more socialist candidates running in the Democratic Party and more Democrats voting for them, contrary to what many Democrat posters here think about it. So, I was always right when I said that the Democratic Party was getting infested with dirty socialists.

We are seeing more people like Sanders or Mandamni proposing socialist policies like nationalization of private companies or universal social programs. We all know this shit has never worked because firstable it's been proven millions of times throughout human history that socialist governments have never been a good business manager, they always failed miserably.

The worst part of it is that socialist governments make people poorer. Americans don't need to go so far to get it, they have Cuba very close to them to see what socialism can do to a country.

Somthing tells me that Americans will vote the lefties anyway thinking that they are going to solve their problems. I guess they have to enjoy first hand the socialism to realize how destructive it is.

Several European countries have turned socialist which is encouraging America to reconsider its capitalist direction.

Are you really surprised that the party that prioritizes illegal invaders over American Citizens promotes a political ideology that mirrors every American rival?

It is Trump that wants to remove birthright citizenship. That violates the constitution.

Europe is not socialist. Europe is woke which is different. Maybe you don't know it because you've never been there.

Being woke means lgtb ideology, indiscriminate inmigration, unarmed police, being soft on crime and rape. Being woke means being stupidly tolerant with the evil.

No, I'm not surprised but there are a lot of users in this forum who think Democrat party is far from being lefty.

What a pity. There was a time when people couldn't tell the difference between Democrats and Republican, but look at it today. Fucking fuck.

Don't surprise if Americans end up electing their own version of Fidel Castro. Sanders can be that person, or even worse.

There is no constitutional violation by wanting to seek to change what is vague language in the 14A. He knows that rewquires an amendment for clarification. Just is there is no violation of law to question the outcome of an election.

Trump has used regulatory interventions to take US Government ownership stakes in 30 corporations so far, is that what you mean by "nationalization of private companies"?

Are you saying Trump is a socialist?

Trump just did what many governments in the world usually do, which is buy a bit of participation in a private company.

It's not a big deal, Trump is not expropiating anything.

What I can criticize about Trump, though, is the terrible economic management he's carrying out. I heard that a slice of pizza costs 6 bucks in New York. That's crazy shit, man. With 6 bucks I can have a big piece of beef with a lot of sauce in the city where I live.

Yes, socialist governments.

Nonsense, expropriating is exactly what he is doing.

He promised he's end the war in Ukraine and bring down inflation in one day, he said he would pay off the national debt in 8 years, are you saying that didn't happen? Did he take SNAP benefits away from 1.5 million poor children for nothing?

Oh please, don't talk affordability, that's just something Democrats made up to make Trump look bad.

I'm not willing to defend Trump but I think he screwed up in the moment he decided to attack Iran.

As of his promises, that's the least of it. Nobody cares about what he said in campaign. In campaign politicians say only what people want to hear.

Gee, you think so?

It was an illegal war nobody supported, it had devastating effects on ours and the world economy, and he still can’t get his story straight about the why of it, we still don’t know what our objectives were supposed to be. He took the most powerful military in the world to war with Iran, and lost huge, after six ineffective months we have walked away with our tails between our legs.

As of his promises, that's the least of it. Nobody cares about what he said in campaign.

Maybe people who don’t care about democracy don’t care what he said in the campaign, to them, elections don’t matter, what the people want doesn’t matter. But most people don’t like being lied to and taken advantage of.

In campaign politicians say only what people want to hear.

If what a politician says has nothing to do with what we get if we elect him, then the electoral process is irrelevant and democracy is undermined. Don’t give me that standard “all politicians do it” BS, that is simply not true. You don’t elect a leader because “it doesn’t matter anyway.”

That is the problem with Trump, he has been undermining our electoral process for years, attempted an insurrection, and made it clear that he couldn’t care less what the people want. He serves a constituency of one, he represents a threat to our democracy and our Constitution, and he is a danger to the people of the US.

He tried to overthrow our electoral process and said he would be a dictator, and we elected him anyway. He’s done what dictators do, he has persecuted anyone who doesn’t support him, he has discredited the free press, suppressed free speech, abused due process, he’s been incredibly corrupt and lawless, he’s attacked our allies, deployed the military into our cities, and diminished our stature on the world stage.

And no, all politicians don’t do it, that is a bald-faced lie.

What I meant to say is that politicians usually exagerate in their promises. It's a presidential campaign, they have to sound self-assured, this is very common. Or do you think the last presidents did all what they promised in campaign? Obviously not.

I'm not sure why you dislike Trump so much. I guess because you're an old Democrat trying to defend your position or because you dislike his manners. Whatever it is, there is something true about all this, Trump is just the result of what the Democrats were doing to the US lately.

I opened a thread about how the Democrat party has been turning into the socialist nest that it is now. Since Obama admininstration, the US was shifting towards a dangerous path of wokism and socialism that was getting established in Biden administration. So, while the Democrats like you were looking at one another without doing shit about it, Trump decided to leave his confortable position to get into a battle against this ideological trend that has been polluting even the universities and schools.

I think Trump is the man the world needed to fight against the wokism, but he is also a bit arrogant and egocentric which are the flaws that lead him to the war with Iran. Maybe you don't like his personality but this is all what we have. Maybe Marco Rubio can be the man who finish the job. Whatever it is, you have to be in our side for the sake of the Democrat Party.

Trump is uniquely qualified to be president. He has files 7 bankruptcies, been fined 89 million for raping E Jean Carroll . Has been convicted Oon 34 felony counts.paid to have sex with Stormy Daniels a porn star.Has 3 wives and is mentioned1500 times in the Epstein files and listed inthe flight records to Epstein’s Island. He has been impeached twice and will be again for trying to illegally profit from his presidency.

Overwhelmingly, most people do not even know what socialism is. This has been especially perpetuated by the political right that has spent years attacking every policy they don’t like as socialism.

Public ownership of the means of production is the *literal* definition of socialism.

Don’t like his manners… lol ok.

I’m old enough to remember when Barack Obama saluted a marine with a cup of coffee in his hands and the political right lost its mind, leading to an entire week of coverage on Fox News. Let’s not forget that these were the same people who thought it was perfectly legitimate to impeach and remove a president for lying about a blow job.

Fast forward to Trump, who in the wake of recent reports that sailors aboard the US Lincoln had jumped overboard due too the stress of their unusually long deployment said “they haven’t been deployed long enough”. And from the right… crickets. I can’t tell any particular individual that they’re being entirely dishonest when they say they don’t care about the president’s conduct, but zoom out and it’s absurd to take that at face value.

The difference between the left and right when it comes to Trump is that the left judges Trump by the same standards as we judge any president. The right has invented a totally different standard. Every insane thing he does is just Trump being Trump, which they say like it excuses the problem when it in fact is the problem.

But fine, take away his conduct, what are we left with? An administration that is cutting health subsidies for millions of Americans cause we can’t afford it while spending more money terrorizing neighborhoods with their hunt for brown people than most countries spend on their entire military, spending something like a billion dollars a day on a war no one wanted that is making everyday life more unaffordable than ever while piling on top of that with the stupidest tariff strategy we’ve ever seen. This administrations policies have been a failure of historic proportions.

There is no excuse for defending this, and history will regard Trump as the worst president we’ve ever had.

Obama was worse than a bad president.

He was irrelevant.

Obama was dressed up as the beginning of a new political age, but perhaps he was actually the end of the previous one. Biden was but a nail in the existing coffin.

I've watched enough videos of people testing the residents of deep-blue Marxist cities in America. They cite a quote from Obama, tell them Trump said it, and they instantly denounce it. Every. Time. It's a cult.

Cut the shit out, man. Americans perfectly know what socialism is. There is no room for misinterpretations.

Besides, what I stated is not my opinion, it's a fact. Check out the news, the reality tells us that Americans are looking favorably on socialism (courtesy of Democrats). That's worrisome.

Public ownership of the means of production is the *literal* definition of socialism.

The US government owns what they need to own. To my knowledge, Trump didn't expropiate anything.

Well, this comment of yours is very telling. You're practically admitting the Democrat party is a left-wing party.

Are you really conscious of what it's going on in the American politics? This is not a joke, dude. You should be worried about what the Democrat party is turning into. Socialism is not something you can play with, it's a dangerous choice.

Maybe the ignorance of Americans about the destructiveness of socialism is clouding their mind. Socialism can sound good at the beginning because it promises lot of things for the people, which can be partially true, but when you least expect it, you are fucked.
