Trump got his ass kicked last night and he wasn't even on the ballot.

EVERYONE Trump endorsed got their ass kicked, if he wanted to demolish the East Wing quicker; he should have just given it his endorsement. For NYC Mayor, Trump endorsed his brother in sexual assault per the adjudicated rapist code, Mamdani crushed it, after 911 only Trump could get a Muslim elected mayor.

Between now and the midterms it's gonna be fun watching Republicans scramble to put distance between them and Trump, stay loyal and the voters destroy you, don't stay loyal and Trump will destroy you, they earned it.

Democrats only need two house seats in the midterms, I'll bet we pick up a dozen or more. We need 4 senators to flip, harder but I think we will do it.

Finally, the tide has turned, we might just save democracy after all.

Well, remember that one of Trump's professors said that Trump was the dumbest student he ever had.

Oh no, did your virtue signalling fail when you got upset about a Muslim Mayor?

Edit post

The US is a definitively secular nation, founded on complete separation of the State and religion. The Left Wing of US realise this but don't realise that pure freedom requires as low tax and free access to guns as possible. The Right Wing of US don't realise that secular pure freedom means the LGBTQ+ and abortion agendas both end up in line with US's liberty-first ethos.

It is left-wing to be pro-life. You are backing poor babies being born at the inconvenience of the already-born. Go figure.

USA should elect muslim for president next. Usually, when you dont know what to do, you should do dumbest possible thing.

Funnily enough, I can agree with that idea (Sometimes).

Sometimes the path to defeat is obvious, and it's 'all you can see.

So don't follow it.

Professionals at times, are more predictable than amateurs.

. . .

Though, I don't think I'd vote someone for president, 'just because they were Muslim.

. . . Heh, and I think one reason people had for voting for Trump, 'was it being a chaos move.

Then why did you say after 9/11, only Trump could install a Muslim mayor in New York City, like that's a bad thing?

Unless you were framing your 9/11 attack on New York as a good thing, in which case your OP makes 100% sense.

It makes sense to elect a Muslim mayor in New York because he would know when and where the next attack would be?

I am interested to see how this plays out. NYC elected a self described hard core socialist/communist. It has been argued at nausium that socialism/communism hasn't worked because it has always been implemented wrong or run by the wrong people. I will withhold my opinion for two years and give the new socialist/communist a chance to show us all how socialism/communism is really supposed to work. He has had at least 100 years of history to draw from to correct all the mistakes of the past. It will either work or it will be the same horrid socialist/communist shit different day. I predict he will quickly run out of other peoples money giving away fee shit left and right. I personally don't think he has a fucking clue or a plan on how to implement anything he does and make it sustainable. But again I will wait 2 years to see where NYC is at then. But with all that said, if he refuses to take an oath under the Constitution of the United States like he has, he will never be mayor. You must swear to protect and defend the Constitution to hold elected public office. But with that said fuck the rule of law, laws or only for the law abiding.

Not true Sunshine, Trump calls him that, he is self-described as a democratic socialist.

AI: Socialism, communism, and democratic socialism differ in their approach to government, economy, and individual libertySocialism typically involves government or collective ownership of key industries within a mixed or market economy. Communism, in its theoretical form, aims for a classless society with no state, where the community owns the means of production; historically, "communist states" have been authoritarian, with the state controlling the economy. Democratic socialism combines socialist goals with democratic processes, advocating for a mixed economy with public and private sectors and achieving social reforms through democratic elections rather than revolution.

I didn't say that Trump installed a mayor, in this country the President doesn't install mayors, they are elected. What I said was "after 911 only Trump could get a Muslim elected mayor", try to pay attention Pumpkin.

Unless you were framing your 9/11 attack on New York as a good thing, in which case your OP makes 100% sense.

You are blathering nonsense again; your inferiority complex makes you act out in the most inane ways; your statement is hopelessly illogical, it's downright stupid to conclude that this is somehow saying that this translates into "the 9/11 attack on New York as a good thing".

Let me try to dumb it down far enough that you might understand.

You see, after the 911 attack there was a great deal of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim sentiment and in New York city which has lingered to this day, Last night the country demonstrated resounding disapproval of Trump, the Republican Party for supporting Trump, and anyone Trump endorsed. Consequently, New Yorkers chose a Muslim Democratic Socialist over the Republican Candidate, and the independent candidate that Trump endorsed. I don't believe that would have happened if it weren't for Trump's lawlessness and dictatorship tendencies and the Republican parties embrace of his Fascist tendencies. Trump has created political chaos that has resulted in surprising outcomes.

Go back and read my post again, read slowly for comprehension, maybe out reading loud will help. Hopefully, with this explanation in mind, you can begin to grasp the meaning of what you read.

Socialism always ends up becoming a form of feudalism, as whoever collects the taxes gets exponentially powerful, insulated from their own mess, and rich. So much for "no Kings."

Setting aside the blatant lie the right keeps repeating about the American left being communists… the constant labeling, fixation, and demonization of democrats as socialists never ceases to amaze me.

You guys don’t even know what these words mean. A “democratic socialist” is someone who believes government has a large role to play in fighting back against the excesses which capitalism naturally produces. That’s not anti-capitalist, it works with capitalism.

Actual socialism is when the government takes control over the means of production. Ironically, the only examples we’ve seen in that in recent years is under the current president where he has I believe twice now had the federal government take a stake in large companies as part of his deal making.

So apparently, if you’re so against socialism, vote blue.

Mamdani is a Muslim elected after 9/11. Kinda sick, but other than that what do you think his policies of a $30 an hour minimum wage and free childcare for everyone effect NYC?

They are quite obviously coming out as them now. The word "progressive" was in group signalling when it was harder to admit being a Marxist in the 60s but nearly every current Democrat openly calls themselves progressive. Other than that, we can look at the policies to see if they align with documented Marxist plans to do things like harm the nuclear family unit etc.

Marketing speak. We know where it leads. Even then working with capitalism undermines it. It is far better to be completely socialist or completely capitalist (free market). You can't have a system work if it is logically inconsistent. It's far better to actually live in a communist hellhole than live in some place where logical inconsistencies exist.

It aligns with fascism, the right has been backed into a corner where we have to choose between fascism or turn the country into California were the cops can't arrest thieves if they steal less than $200, where crime is high due to immigration, where pedophilia has essentially been legalized and where parents will get arrested for not affirming their male child is a girl.

We can look at the worst policies of England and their attacks on free speech to see what else liberals have in store.

Why are you a liberal anyway is your only argument "gee I don't like the personality of trump because he mentioned having secure borders and criticized NAFTA in a way that sounds jingoistic"

There are a lot of reason's Zohran Mamdani won, another is that Americans are outraged that Trump is implementing Project 2025, which is a plan to turn America into a Christian Nationalist Theocracy, I think another reason the people of New York elected a Muslim mayor was to show what they think of project 2025.

Why would you be surprised by it, historically almost all fascist movements insisted that their opposition are communists.

"The streets of our country are in turmoil. The Universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting. Communists are seeking to destroy our country ... Without law and order our nation can not survive." Adolph Hitler 1932, also Benito Mussolini, Francisco Franco, and Donald Trump.

Many of your present day New Yorkers want the Socialism, and really don't care if the Mayor is Muslim. They want a familiar system where the managerial government class has most of the responsibility of taking care of the peasants. New York no longer wants the "American dream" of personal freedom and strong protections from an overbearing and overregulating government. They want the neo-feudalism of 2025 socialism. They tried autonomy and personal risk, and found out it just didn't work out well for them. It might be a blueprint for the rest of your country.

Democrats call themselves progressive because that’s a clear description of what their beliefs amount to. It’s origins as you described, even if represented accurately (which I am skeptical about but not interested in checking), are irrelevant.

Marketing speak. We know where it leads.

Paranoia is not knowledge.

Even then working with capitalism undermines it. It is far better to be completely socialist or completely capitalist (free market). You can't have a system work if it is logically inconsistent.

And yet every developed nation on earth runs on some combination of socialism and capitalism.

There is nothing logically inconsistent about a system where the means of production is privately owned while government puts measures in place to reduce poverty and increase upward mobility. It’s been working for us for the past century.

the right has been backed into a corner where we have to choose between fascism or turn the country into California were the cops can't arrest thieves if they steal less than $200, where crime is high due to immigration, where pedophilia has essentially been legalized and where parents will get arrested for not affirming their male child is a girl.

There’s a football field’s worth of middle ground between the two, and that’s setting aside the outright delusions you just spouted.

Why are you a liberal anyway is your only argument "gee I don't like the personality of trump because he mentioned having secure borders and criticized NAFTA in a way that sounds jingoistic"

When the lobbies are in power of socialism, we call that corporatism or possibly the vernacular: "crony capitalism."

When the government is in power of socialism, we call that fascism.

When there are no private corporations, we call that kind of socialism....communism.

thats impossible. If each man had 4 wives, 75% of men would be single.
