The Catholics and Orthodox claim to categorically know for sure some Saints while Protestants tend to remain either very skeptical or very happily estimate many as Saints (dead friends etc).

If you read your Bible fully, you would realise that Sainthood is there. Paulian parts of the Bible have verses converting Sanctification of a person leading them to being referred to a term called Saint.
