I was actually thinking what to respond there, and that response seemed most unique because it exposes a deeper problem, apparently that of women in most cases dating men older than themselves, essentially forcing a lot of men their age to date younger than themselves or be alone.
Well dating is an unnecessary concept anyway...Just human overthink.
Breeding was always about competition and the transfer of dominant genes.
I think that what you are referring to is a reversion back to female dominance in some societies. Wherein partners are chosen for their wealth and status rather than for physical dominance alone.

Women should probably stop with setting all the unrealistic standards for excluding men. Because math doesnt work there. Ratio of straight men to straight women is 1:1. If women make standards which exclude a lot of men, more men end up alone, and also more women end up alone.
Just imagine society of 10 women and 10 men. If 10 women make standards to exclude 50% of men, then 10 women only have 5 men to be available for them, leaving other 5 men alone.
So having standards to exclude men isnt really beneficial. the more women have such standards, and the greater the standards, the greater is the number of excluded men, men who are left alone and desperate.
And women prefering men 10 years older than them is bad news for all guys their age.
Women often say people should date their own age, yet women mostly dont do that, which makes it impossible for men as well to date their own age.
But younger men are broke and not very financially secure. Most of them are still living with their parents and receiving money from them.
