@RemyBrown
the person who the DUI driver's vehicle crashed into (and all of their passengers) can't do that

Most of the time it doesn't crash though. That's my point.

Another wild Remy statement:

That, and some women will say no but want it anyways.

I should just start compiling a google doc of these so when it eventually breaks national news headlines of the next huge serial rapist/murderer who exclusively targets women, I can pull it out and say "Yup, I'm right for choosing the bear" when it comes out that their online username was RemyBrown.

If you choose the bear, then go to a forest. No bears here.

Oh there are absolutely bears in the city if you know where to look.

How many bears have you dated so far?

None, they're not my type so the bar is higher for them than for others.

Sorry bear, you are not her type. I guess she just chooses man after all, even tho all the "I choose bear" hype had a good run and probably gave you false hope.

Never said I wouldn't, but they're not what I'm looking for if I'm imagining an ideal partner.

I guess she just chooses man

Never said this either.

Yeah but you have to multiply that percent by the percentage that get hit, which brings it down a lot.

If there's a DUI victim, it means someone got hit though right?

Its not a privilege.

We agree. From what I've seen, it would be an academic hurdle. 😉

Sure but not every DUI has a victim. Most don't.

100 DUIs with victims send more ppl to the hospital than 100 rapes, not 100 DUIs.

Are you doing satire right now?

No, I firmly believe that rape is worse than drunk driving. You of course have no counterargument. Typical rapist - persuasion isn't their strong suit. It's somewhat atrophied as a faculty.

The notion that anyone who has a different opinion from someone else is a rapist or nazi or whatever irritates me to no end. If you think that’s going to truly change someone’s viewpoint on things, you are sorely mistaken.

Honestly, I think it really just depends entirely on what you as a person feel is more valuable. Do you value your life itself or the quality of your life. I personally value the quality of my life more, as part of me subconsciously knows how rape would affect me if it were to happen to me. When I think about which one would cause me the most mental suffrage, I’d say rape is worse than DUI because I value the quality of my life rather than the sudden death that may or may not occur. Plus, it is more likely to happen to me as a black female, compared to being caught up in an incident caused by a DUI driver. Others who simply value their lives more would most likely feel DUI is worst because in their mind, it has a higher chance of killing people. They may also think that it has a higher chance of physically impairing a person, or neurologically impairing a person, which can also decrease the quality of your life significantly. All in all, it really just depends on what you value and what you part of these crimes you are focusing on. I can understand both thought processes and I don’t feel any type of malice towards either viewpoint.

Only if you were comparing DUIs with victims to rape. But you're comparing DUIs in general.

Yeah but most DUIs still don't have a victim. I think I posted the stats earlier but you can look it up if you don't believe me.
