He apologized and had it covered up, further demonstrating it was inappropriate. Should have known that in advance of having the tat in the first place. Doesn't anybody do research anymore? I spend a minimum of four hours daily in research. Anybody can, but they don't seem to think the time is worth it. Gaining knowledge isn't worth the time? Getting a Nazi tat is, when that is clearly not a US favorite, and one lives their life often shirtless? Platner is not a demonstrated thinker, a task one would think is required of a Senator.

I happen to know both my Senators personally, and both meet the thinking criteria very well. Sorry for your apparent experience, but States do vary in the competence of voters and elected leaders.

Sorry for late response. No, doesn't prove your point at all. like I said, why did Rs need to dump Trump? That's a common D response, but their motivation is still rooted in defeating Hillaryous Balloon Girl, and then not being able to answer why Dems attended Biden rallies in tens [in the '20 campaign], while Trump's supporters attended in tens of thousands, and yet lost the election. Then DFs went ape-shit when Trump challenged the election. That's not illegal, by the way, though the ape-shit response by Ds is full of that sentiment. And then, in 2024, Biden's debate performance, still in denial that he was derelict, as was the Party until it became too plainly obvious that he always was, had to dump him.

So, why would Rs dump Tump after that kind of public support in the face of Ds abandonment of Biden? It's a simple question.

I'm saying back in 2016 before he won the primary, Republicans could have picked a candidate who had a better track record of making moral choices. Trump was not their only option even if they liked his policies. Is he popular? Sure he is. That doesn't mean he's the best person to want to run the country though.

Thing is though, Trumps popularity says so much about America and Americans.

This salute has been around since the ancient Greeks, at least, and is a positive, even aggressive claim of pride, accomplishment, and victory. Try again. There are illustrations of Trump offering the nazi salute, but, being an illustrator, myself, I could draw you with the same gesture. Does that make it real anywhere but in TDS?
