Say it like it is.
HI Stephen.
Not sure that "Highways and Hedges" were commonplace in Middle Eastern semi-desert regions two thousand years ago...More sort of dirt tracks and scrub.
Highways and Hedges sounds more post feudal English...Though perhaps no more than one should expect from a fifteenth century English Romanticised literature..
Debs, Jen goes for the same white square blue shapes look as you, but without the spots...You need to cleanse....You could easily be mistaken for one another in a crowded forum.
And yes Jen, myth is a mixture of fact and fantasy...But neither proves each other....Notwithstanding that archaic creation and existence hypotheses are reasonably analogical given the available data.
Though Demons and Christians, I guess are are just an extension of Lucy's childhood games.
Lucy identified demons, it is up to Christians to identify themselves.

Good morning Serge. Nice to hear from you . How's the move going?
In response to your comment. my comment was simply a response to this post >>>https://www.debatecraft.com/forum/c/religion/posts/13v/demons-vs-christians-on-debate-craft?page=1&comment_number=15 @JenKiggans
Which caused this verse to spring to mind. luke23:25 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Although, I do agree about dirt tracks and scrub quip. Which the comment by @JenKiggans caused me to make a quip of my own considering I live almost on the countryside of town_ Stoke Prior.
I hope you and the family are all good all the best.
Jesus was on the road throughout his ministry.
He had a centre of operations firmly embedded in Bethany were he spent most of his time relaxing and dipping his feet in the Jordan, while his best friend who "he loved" was sleeping, then sick and then dead. although Jesus said he wouldn't die. THEN HE DID DIE!
But Jesus brought Lazarus back to life. Another one of his miracles.
He traveled all around Galilee actually and He never said He wouldn't die. He told the Disciples several times that He would be crucified and that his "hour was coming" and he rose again
And he travelled mostly on foot.
Jesus influenced the world more than people with large armies.
For sure Debs...Over the past two thousand years, theo-political empires have had a huge influence on human social development and material evolution. Such is the power of theo-political dogma and the conditioning and subjugation of humans thereof.
Hi Stephen.
Well thanks, but the housing market is slow.
And Debby insists that the gospels are the words of the disciples...But like I always say to her, it was all written later by someone else...And I'm just guessing that highways and hedges is definitely a much later turn of phrase.

I haven't denied that he travelled.
And I'm just guessing that highways and hedges is definitely a much later turn of phrase.
Of course.
But Jesus brought Lazarus back to life.
"Back to life", meaning that he did die. after Jesus- god/ son of god- said that he wouldn't. You do make me laugh at times.
He didn't "die" at all. This ceremony was nothing more than a ritualistic raising to a higher level(my guess is to high priest) in the Jesus movement But iv'e shown this to be the case to you many times now and won't be covering it again, unless you decide to create your own thread on the matter.Which I doubt you have the balls to do so because you don't know anything about that which you claim , pretend to know.
Lazarus was dead and in the Tom for 4 days by the time Jesus arrived in Bethany.

Sounds like an orgy.
You really must check and edit Debs.

I won't mention necrophilia.

Well I believe. there is a Jewish custom that blows your claim out of the water, its called Shiva. Look it up.
Lazarus was only four days dated and not seven days when Jesus arrived at Bethany. Shiva means seven.
No, don't mention necrophilia.
What about Tom?
And Bethany.
Lazarus was dead for 4 days before Jesus arrive in Bethany to save him. But he still managed to bring Lazarus back to life. This is listed as one of the miracles of Jesus in the Bible.
Yes, in a 15th century book of myths and legends.
Lazarus was only four day sand not seven days when Jesus arrived at Bethany.
I know....so the bible says.
Shiva means seven.
Ok. And did the relatives of the supposed "dead" Lazarus believe that he was physically dead, not breathing, lifeless and had been expired for 4 days before and when Jesus arrived on the scene ?
Lazarus was not aware of anything he was dead before Jesus arrived in Bethany.

My question was about the relatives of Lazarus. did you miss it. here it is again. -
