Like I said to Debs Stephen, Post dated mythological exaggeration.

Of course, since the 17th century we have had the benefit of the telescope.

They called it his star because it was pointing to him and no other reason to be there. This was how the 3 wise men were able to locate Jesus and offer him the gifts they brought to make his divine birth. Read your Bible.

What did the wise men from the East say when they approach King Herod ?

[A] They said that they had seen HIS star. Matthew 2 didn't they?
LOOK>>>> Matthew 2: Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

So?

Who did they mean when they said HIS star ?

So what was this particular Star telling the kings, or wise men or magicians?

And why did the call it HIS star?

What's the matter thickO, can't you find a comprehensive answer without AI ?

So this star was pointing and saying "there he is wise lads, in that stable a few thousand miles away. you are going to need a few camels and supplies".

Last time!

Are you denying that the sign of JESUS is the fish ?

The star led them to Jesus. That is why they called it his star. Without its help they would not have found Jesus’s birthplace location.

Can you point out in the NT where the authors and writers thought that the end was near? And can you tell us what you mean by the end? End of the world? End of the nation of Israel's covenant with God? End of the footy season?

I see. Still doesn't explain how they knew it was specifically his. It doesn't' explain how they knew a baby king was due in the first place either dose it you clown. How did they know it was the sign of a king to come? something or someone had to have told them what to look for. So they were looking into the heavens/ space - star gazing, like Astronomers do - and they seen His star. How did the know it was HIS star, was it moving? was it different looking in closure or size. ?

The Magi were Persian astronomers and astrologers . They knew the night sky, and seeing a star appear suddenly would have been a sign of great import. The magi were expecting a saviour. The Magi were clearly informed of the prophesies of Daniel. Having received the prophesies of Daniel , knowing that there was a promised saviour coming and seeing a star of great magnificence in the heavens, they began to travel in search of the Messiah. They were guided by the Bible and star to the exact location of Jesus . It’s all in the Bible. Read it.

No telescopes though Debs. So all guess work and superstition.

And read the Bible as an unprogrammed sceptic would, and you would see it for the mythology that it is.

I know it is. That's what I have been telling you for the last three FKN pages, you dulcet dunce. . While YOU have insisted that astronomy and astrology were banned in the bible, and denied that nothing at all in the bible is either astronomical nor astrological based.

Whilst all the time explaining to all of us reading here about the astronomy and astrology used by "wise men" . How a celestial heavenly body told them that a king was born, told them where the boy king could be located and guided to the boy kings location.

ONCE again, are you denying that the sign of Jesus is the FISH?. I won't let this go, You have failed to answer this question FOUR!!!! times!!!! now.

I'm taking that to mean that you agree that the celestial sign for Jesus is the fish. Two fishes to be more precise.

More up to date astronomy offers many reliable theories for the Star of Bethlehem...Though programmed theists are unlikely to want to listen...They would sooner accept 2000 year old astronomical pseudo theory and hocus pocus as a fact.

If it helps your faith to see Jesus as a fish, there might be room to correct your distortion. It was a star that led the Magi to Jesus and not a fish.

The cross functions both as a symbol (representing the Christian faith, Jesus’s crucifixion , and redemption ) and a sign (a physical gesture or marker of identity). It became a primary Christian emblem by the 2nd century.

A star led the Magi to Jesus’s location, not a fish. Read your Bible.

Yes we know a star was the indicator /sign that a king had been born. That is not the argument you thicko.

The cross functions both as a symbol (representing the Christian faith, Jesus’s crucifixion ,

Yes We know: But you forgot Christianity, it is also symbol of Christianity, you dulcet dunce.

And you still haven't told us who carried the cross to Golgotha.

So; the fish was the sign of Jesus, Yes or No? why are you sacred to commit yourself?

Better still, why don't you just admit that I am correct, and that you a far to stupid to work it out for yourself?

And you still haven't told us who carried the cross to Golgotha; was Jesus or one of the billion Simon's that frequent the scriptures?

Simon of Cyrene was the man compelled by Roman soldiers to help Jesus carry his cross on the way to Golgotha , as recorded in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 27:32, Mark 15:21, Luke 23:26). He was an African man from Cyrene entering Jerusalem from the countryside and was forced to assist Jesus Christ because Jesus was too weak.

Pilate conveyed the details of his conversation with Jesus see Luke 23:3-7

all your questions have been answered but Satan has blocked your mind and you refuse to read the Bible.

OK, just so we are clear. Was it (A) Simon or (B) Jesus that bared the cross to Golgotha?

According to the Gospel , both carried the cross at different times.jesus initially carried his own cross (John 19:17) but due to exhaustion from torture , Roman soldiers compelled Simon of Cyrene to carry it for the rest of the was to Golgotha (Luke 23:26, Matthew 27:32, Mark 15:21).

How many times are you going to repeat the question when the answer is already in the Bible and the verses provided? I might have weakened Satan who cannot stop you from asking questions about Jesus. That is a victory for Christians.

But you know PERFECTLY well that there are TWO FKN answers to this question and only one can be true. that's why you are too frightened to commit to answer A OR B.

HERE have another go or I will show you again to be the utter evasive bible dunce that you are.

So we are clear. Just say which one is true That's all you have to do thicko.
