Shit happens.

Shit still happens.

And a lot of happening shit is based upon old Middle Eastern tribalism and folk tales.

Such is the legacy of factional Middle Eastern ideology.

I love how no one ever questions that not a single time in the history of the Jewish religion is there a demi god born half man, half human. Yet, in the Greek religion of the time, demigods were all over the place. I love how no one ever questions that we celebrate Jesus's birthday on a pagan Greek holiday. Christianity is the pagan religion applied to a single deity. And then for some reason, they just stuck the jewish god on top of it. Not a single word did Christ speak that goes back to anything Judaism teaches.

Jesus said he was sent only to save the Jews.

Matthew 15: 24 “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Remember, God chose the Israelite's as his own and He was their God

yet the Jews shouted

Matthew 27:16-26, Mark 15:7-15, Luke 23:18-25, John 18:40

“Crucify him!” they shouted14 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” 15

“Not a single word…”

I suggest you research Old Testament command to love God and love of neighbor. Test them separately as advised in N.T.

We tell God what to do and then blame Him for our errors.

Thanks for proving that the Bible is a comic book.

Christianity was invented by man.

Do you mean to tell me that religion is a human endeavor, really?

How about science, philosophy and art, are they human things too?

My my, how profound.

No I said Christianity was invented by man. I didn't say religion period or anything else. Once you take things seriously, you can pay attention and learn .

I'm sorry to be the one that has to break it to you, but believe it or not, Christianity is a religion.

Not only that, but like all religions, it is a human endeavor too.

@Sidewalker

Yes, Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion, which states that Jesus is the Son of God and rose from the dead after his crucifixion, whose coming as the messiah (Christ) was prophesied in the Old Testament and chronicled in the New Testament. It is the world's largest and most widespread religion.

Your problem is incoherent writing. But go on about your nonsense.

Christianity is the only religion where god is crucified for blasphemy and resurrected 300 years later as the true living god.

Why is Jesus’s return delayed? Too many Christians are converting to Islam.

Why is Jesus's return delayed?

Spaceship broke down in the Zeptoluvian sector...Still waiting for a replacement thrustobooster to be flown in from the Quatgoolian engine supply depot in the Fexilimpal Galaxy...Takes approximately 300 light years at 300 lightyears per 300 lightyears.

@SergeantLynch

The book of Revelations does not provide such details as you have outlined. But his return was certain.

Edit post

#54 •••
@Debby

Well, once the new parts have arrived and are fitted, it would take 478 lightyears to get here.

But unfortunately the replacement Thrustobooster is currently out of stock, and is on back order from the manufactures, who in turn are waiting for a supply of rare earth minerals from the Daltifergal sector, where the Daltifergal miners are currently on strike, demanding better pay and conditions.

To cut a long story short, Jesus is not expected for at least another 4276 light years. Bearing in mind that he has another quintillion inhabited planets and moons demanding his attention.

Can you imagine having to be symbolically crucified a quintillion times...Heck of a job being the son of GOD.

And poor old GOD and all those quintillion virgins needing his attention...You can quite see why he gets pissed off with sinners.

@SergeantLynch

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus's return is depicted as

a glorious, conquering King (Revelation 19) coming with clouds, visible to all, to judge the wicked, defeat evil (Antichrist), and establish His eternal kingdom, ending the Tribulation and ushering in a new era of peace and righteousness for believers, a stark contrast to His humble first coming. He appears on a white horse as "King of Kings," with heavenly armies, wielding a sharp sword (the word of God) to slay His enemies and bring ultimate victory and judgment.

@SergeantLynch

Jesus on a horse is certainly more inspiring than riding a donkey.

Edit post

#58 •••
@Debby

Yes, Donkeys are sort of an equine comedic mode of transport.

Whereas GOD was an Arab Stallion.

Edit post

#59 •••
@SergeantLynch

When did an Arab Stallion ride a donkey?

Edit post

#60 •••
@Debby

Analogically speaking GOD was the Arab stallion that rode Mary's ass.
