The Jews have always been Skeptical of their neighbours.

And I think it's fair to say that Jew's neighbours have been more than sceptical of Jews.
I think it was maybe a little bit more than scepticism. Jesus hated the gentiles even the Jewish ones and he hated the Jew Samaritans even more so., to the point where he told his followers "not to go anywhere near them", reminding them that he had come only to the lost tribes of Israel. this is another instance that your Christian just cannot accept. Because of her faith in Jesus, Jesus granted her wish and her daughter was healed. Jesus cured both Jews and gentiles.

As clearly shown in both verses from the BIBLE Serge !, Yep Jesus was a Jew through and through and had no time for non Jews even gentiles that had converted to Jewry. So Christians don't mean anything to him, I believe he would have been appalled that a whole new religion had sprang up in his name.

Magic-man hypothesis is very easy to understand, though unlikely to be true.
Whereas a super-intelligence is feasible and also easy to understand, but there's been no follow-up as far as I know...Which leads me to conclude that this hypothesis is also unlikely to be correct.
Which leaves us with a uniquely evolving intelligent system, or similarly evolving intelligent systems.
And it's highly likely that other evolving intelligent systems came up with a magic-being hypothesis at some point in their development.

He didn't die so - like Lazarus- he never came back to life, unless "coming back to life" in those days also meant coming to his senses and had accepted that his mission had failed in his homeland and simply couldn't beat the might of Rome with just a few thousand cutthroat thieving zealots from the bandit province of Galilee so had to recruited from elsewhere.

The Romans were more receptive to Jesus’s message than the Jews even though Jesus and his 12 disciples were all Jews.

I have have come across a wonderful piece of work that appears to agree with me.

So unless anyone can convince me otherwise, I am sticking to my own belief that "raising the dead" is / was, nothing more than an initiation ceremony into the inner circle of the Jesus movement of called the "living".
The resurrection is central to Christianity. Not only was Jesus certified dead on the cross. The Romans did not break his legs to speed up the death process since he was already dead. Jesus then reappeared to his disciples who touched and confirmed it was him. Jesus remained on earth for 40 days. Then ascended to heaven. The Bible has survived the test of time.
