Kohai is basically CCing Thoth because Kohai is claiming the entire Xenomorph species. Thoth is claiming Facehuggers which is a member of the species. Thoth needs to full claim

Also, does it specify the adult stage in the Xenomorph life cycle? That would not contradict Facehugger being in the game, any more than having Squirtle means you can’t have Blastoise (I know how to reach late millennials and early zoomers.)

I agree with this. Wanted to hear more from Thoth before I tunneled it. But it’s very strange there is a species and a character. But I absolutely buy the specifies as a whole as a claim

Seems like the main tension at this point is between Thoth's and RT's claims.

Starting off, it is odd that there's any justification for Thoth's role that could work as being "against the interests of Xenomorphs." I can't say if that's a misreading of his PM or an attempt to shoehorn in a specific role with Facehuggers (either on his part or Luna's), though I suspect this is some kind of misunderstanding.

I've always associated Xenomorphs with the full-grown form of these aliens, though it is just the species name and the full-grown form is just the "adult." Facehugger is one of the larval stages, it leads into Chestburster, which becomes an adult form. So yes, there is definitely some overlap between Xenomorphs and Facehuggers. That CC does stand out. If Thoth is telling the truth, then (and I think I saw someone mention this earlier) there should be a Chestburster in here as well.

The combination of the odd nature of Thoth's justification (at least how he's framing it) and the partial CC on the table stands as reason enough to get Thoth's full claim. Depending on what that is and how it contrasts with RT's claim, we might revisit his afterward. Until then:

he’s largely all over the place and I buy David claiming as a species due to my character. also i really dislike the pressure on me for putting pressure on new players has always been a meta. They are more likely to fuck up. Then he went back to David and said his pm implies David is scum by character.
