We’re basically forced to lynch Kohai here as you pointed out. It’s just a matter of if he’s town, who do you want to shoot. If he shoots wrong, the game is over on the spot. 5-2, 4-2, 3-2 + NK = 2-2
I think the way this has to play out. Is we by consensus have to townlock david and not touch him the rest of the game and pray we are right. Or we have to lynch him and let him shoot the lynch target. If he is town and shoots town the game is prob over outside of some type of protection or prevention. If he is scum and shoots town. We still get another dayphase. I can't think of a better option than this.

Last NP only Kohai's role was known to scum, and it posed a clear advantage for them if they recruited him. I don't understand why they wouldn't have chosen him tbh.
