I'm fine with character claiming in the interim since it appears we're holding off on massclaims. If no one has a problem with it, I'll opt to be first and popcorn to someone else.
Go ahead and character claim. We have to do something to move it forward and skep has already claimed that. At least we can start there and it at least limits the amount of fake claiming of roles if we decide to do it later because it would have to fit with the character.

He prob doesn’t, but his claim shouldn’t change things imo. He’s basically linked to it via his role. And if he was converted, he doesn’t have a reason to like about his town character
