Well, I've got to make a call, so I'm doing it.

Part of this comes down to not wanting this is be a mod coin flip. It's going to be a lot harder to read the tea leaves on why this vote went a certain way, as well as who contributed to a given player's ouster and why they put their vote on either Vader or Awesome if this ends up coming down to who loses the coin toss.

Part of it just comes down to the fact that I'm hoping to at least get something from Vader if he's town. We stand to gain nothing if he's eliminated this DP and he flips town, whereas we can at least have some chance of getting a Tracker result if we push him next DP. Either Awesome and Vader are likely to remain in POE after this regardless of which survives, but only Vader's role could directly benefit town and he could prove himself (assuming he's willing to re-engage after this).

Both wagons have at least two players I townread on them, so that's not affecting my choice. I still scumread Vader behaviorally, but there's just too much I can't ignore from Awesome, and whatever info Mikal has that's leading him to townread Awesome isn't something I'm privy to. So...

Hmm this makes me townread Whiteflame a bit more than I was. I'll have to go back to the drawing board a bit next DP. I figured scum WF would not be on a team with Supa due to their past interactions and would jump at the chance to lynch him. Now I'm less sure about either's affiliation.

Debating if this is a bluff. 

I honestly think it is. He’s done this before in a previous game. I don’t have time to dig it up right now. The only thing holding me up is the claim and the role.

My other scum read is Awesome. Like I said, his role doesn’t add up, and it can be a scum role too. From a balance perspective it makes sense to give it to scum too. I would’ve liked his character to determine justification, but his utility alive is pretty much non-existent from where I’m sitting at. I trust you as one of my top town reads, so I don’t know if I’m ready to pull the trigger yet.

If Pie VTLs Vader, I’ll change my vote. Main thing I want to avoid is the 50-50, I’d like to get as much out of the flip and who was on each wagon as possible. If that means risking a Tracker result, I’ll accept it.

Just as with Max, the sudden claim from Supa makes me suspicious because only scum would not fear anticlaim, so claiming suddenly DP1 (especially after protesting it) is just overall sus to me. It's like he calculated that he could get more town cred for claiming, it doesn't feel genuine. I also feel like if you're going to throw a fit to stave off the night kill as town why not do it without claiming? I'm leaning more towards a desperate reaction like in that one game you linked. I don't know whether it's an act or not. My gut says not but that example you gave has been undermining that.

This is a great point I hadn’t thought of. Max just outright claimed albeit with a confirmable. Supa doing a complete 180 makes no sense. He was aware of the anti claim. Even talked about it. Going to iso him real quick
