I'd be shocked if wf wasn't Tir. That said, I think we almost have a solve:

Max - Confirmed town

Pie - Town via flavor. There's no way Teo is town and Barbarossa is scum especially since I'm incredibly loyal to her.

Castin - Sonya makes flavor sense as town as she's my love interest.

Vader - Kasim Hazil - Only makes sense in town world as he's a close friend of Teo.

I honestly think the Toran Liberation team is scum.

Out of those airmax is not recruitable. The only person there that would make sense as a recruit is pie. Vader is a mislynch waiting to happen so I doubt scum would recruit them. Castin is also probably not a recruit.

Quick thought: Tir is not claiemd which is weird. What's the probability of wf being tir and tir being scum? Given myself and Tir end up on the opposing sides of the battle it would make sense for Teo to be town and Tir scum.

I initially thought Tir was town because I was his father. however at that time I didn't realize we ended on opposite sides of the war which means Tir could very well be scum.

As committed as y'all are to blindly following Pie's counter-claim, I hope you can delemmingize yourself enough to consider the following things. Audiatur et altera pars. No, I'm not backtracking from anything (post #575), I've just been busy.

My ability can still either shift at least one kill to where it does less damage to town or force scum to NK a relatively sus group of three players due to WIFOM. With luck, I could save a townie and hit scum. If you think there is even a small chance I'm telling the truth, don't vote me. Killing me cuts off possibly the strongest power role claimed so far.

If I were scum and made this up, do you really think I would kill a top scumread for the sake of going all-in possibly the most unbelievable fake claim in recent memory? Actually, the answer could be yes, except that no scum partner would let me do that without bitching and moaning more loudly than I could stand.

Most importantly, I had no reason to claim Ascetic. None. My claim and justification would have made just as much sense, even if you think that 'just as much' is zero, without Ascetic. The only reasons why I would claim Ascetic are being Ascetic scum, which still contradicts Pie's claim, or if I had reason to believe that I needed to claim it lest someone accuse me of omitting the fact that I am Ascetic, which would presumably mean that I am Ascetic scum and we would have gone full circle since, if I were an Ascetic townie, I would have no reason to lie about being an Ascetic townie. You're all operating under the assumption that there can't be more than one role with the same modifier. Pie might be Ascetic or he might not. You can't make assumptions about the mod constructs the game because you don't want it to be that way.

Lynch me and lose your strongest asset because of a counter-claim that isn't. Have fun falling off that cliff.

I think someone is definitely fake claiming their characters. Either Tir McDohl or Ted is not in the game. I can't imagine a world where one of them is not in the game.

I asked Rex right after I got my role card how Ascetic would interact with some hypothetical roles. He told me that the investigative roles I named would see no result and that the protective roles I named would be told nothing. I inferred from that actions are not roleblocked per se because I presumed that would inform whoever targeted me that they were roleblocked, which may not be true, but Rex hasn't responded to my most recent questions yet.

I’m still not caught up, but I can explain what happened with Mikal’s role. Its failure was almost certainly not an RB. If it’s valuable for me to claim, I can, but I’ve been trying to put the pieces together from what was covered up to page 17 and I’m almost certain that I’m the reason his role failed.

Fine, I’ll just spill it and we can sort this all out:

I’m Joshua Levenheit. That’s part of the reason I mentioned that I don’t get the theme split, doesn’t look like he’s Empire. He also has a True Rune, hence I said that I would have benefitted from shooting Ultra last DP since it would have granted me another role.

As for what I am, it’s Strengthener. I strengthened Luna. That’s why Mikal’s Redirect didn’t work.
