Wf said he doesn’t think he’s scarlet. It makes me think he’s fake claiming. Made me wonder if the theme was around the war of succession. Cus Joshua was scarlet then but that does not line up with the res of the characters at all. In the game. Joshua is a good guy like blankly and him being a strengthener makes even less sense

Dude, you know how Strengthener works: my target is immune to RBs and misdirection. You redirected him. Your redirection failed.

As for how it's spelled out in the PM, it talks about the Dragon Rune, says it allows dragons to exist and gives me control over them, and that I can channel its power to strengthen an ally.

As for pointing out the Toran thing... I softed that my character did not fit the obvious theme split you were going with. I knew you'd call it out. Nonetheless, I put myself in the crosshairs by actively saying I'm the explanation for the failure of your role, rather than claiming I had no idea how you'd been RB'd. I don't think your concept of how the theme split in this game works is accurate, just straight up. It's up to you whether you believe it. If not, just fucking lynch me and get it over with.

I can't help that. If you want to prove it to yourself, that's your choice. All I can do is claim the character I inherited and make clear it doesn't fit with your framing of the theme split. If it helps at all (doubt it), the details include Barbarossa, who he apparently fought alongside during the Succession War. That's the only other name in my PM.

And, seriously, much as I love the fact that Mikal is loremastering the hell out of this game, this is a fucking frustrating basis for calling me out at this point. If I was scum, why the fuck would I choose, as the last player to claim, to claim someone from the very faction that got me sussed as a TP? I get that it's WIFOM, but god, this would just be next level stupid.

Perhaps we've been leaning too much on Mikal's lore mastery for theme insight. The theme could be less obvious -- True Rune holders vs Stars, etc

My ability can still either shift at least one kill to where it does less damage to town or force scum to NK a relatively sus group of three players due to WIFOM. With luck, I could save a townie and hit scum. If you think there is even a small chance I'm telling the truth, don't vote me. Killing me cuts off possibly the strongest power role claimed so far.

What you’re claiming is that you cannot be NKed though. If you pick 3 names including yourself, it means that you’re immune right? If REF tells you that you are the NK, can’t you redirect to a person above you or below you? You’re saying that you’re unkillable.

If I were scum and made this up, do you really think I would kill a top scumread for the sake of going all-in possibly the most unbelievable fake claim in recent memory? Actually, the answer could be yes, except that no scum partner would let me do that without bitching and moaning more loudly than I could stand.

This is all WIFOM. People including me have provided reasons. Regardless, it’s speculation.

Most importantly, I had no reason to claim Ascetic. None. My claim and justification would have made just as much sense, even if you think that 'just as much' is zero, without Ascetic. The only reasons why I would claim Ascetic are being Ascetic scum, which still contradicts Pie's claim

, or if I had reason to believe that I needed to claim it lest someone accuse me of omitting the fact that I am Ascetic, which would presumably mean that I am Ascetic scum and we would have gone full circle since, if I were an Ascetic townie, I would have no reason to lie about being an Ascetic townie. You're all operating under the assumption that there can't be more than one role with the same modifier. Pie might be Ascetic or he might not. You can't make assumptions about the mod constructs the game because you don't want it to be that way.

Lynch me and lose your strongest asset because of a counter-claim that isn't. Have fun falling off that cliff.

The way Thoth is describing his role is that he’s immune to dying except by lynch. I don’t know why he’s concerned about dying. He can’t be targeted by non-lethal actions. He can’t be strongmanned. He’s basically immune to everything except being lynched
